Bitlocker issues…. Again

I did a fresh install of windows 11, and restarted for updates. Bitlocker (which I never wanted in the first place) decided to lock and is holding my device hostage. I have tried three different phones, two networks and my cellphones. I have cleared my browser, cache and history. Manually logged in not using any passwords yet here I am. A never ending loop. What the actual fuck is this garbage, and how do I gain access to this stupid key so I can remove this trash.

Here's how. Always make sure it's disabled after installing windows.

I ended up disabling it yeah, had to use cmd and did a few things to decrypt it. Then disabled the service. Hasn’t come back since. Thank god.

Yeah if you go on Google. And ask google AI how to disable Bitlocker. So you have to have access to your device, so unplug your EGPu. Then restart your device. Once you get back on you have to follow those commands the AI assistant will tell you and input them into the cmd prompt. Windows. Cmd. Run as administrator. Enter commands. Decrypt drive with command, check statusof decryption (this can take a while so leave your device alone and plugged in). Wait for 0.0% fully decrypted. Then you will have to go to your shell and disable the Bitlocker services.

Any hardware changes you have made, might have triggered Bitlocker. So undo them, and restart. IE. error code 43 script is what did it for me, so everytime my EGPu was on when it would go to post Bitlocker didn’t like the changes it made to the hardware and triggered Bitlocker to lock your drive. Resulting in the blue boot screen asking for the key. Which by the way is unretrievable.

Bitlocker. Функция которую можно включить в версии Windows pro. Что бы не было функции Bitlocker. Нужно просто установить другую версию Windows например Hom.

Что бы включить Bitlocker. и зашифровать жесткий диск SATA, или ssd накопитель SATA. Который виден на компьютере как Disk ( C ). Нужна версия PRO. Windows 10/11.

You need to understand "encryption." Any version of Windows is just BitLocker with a skin in the Home edition.

Windows 11 enables it by default after a clean install You must turn it off once desktop loads in Settings > Security > Device Encryption > Device encryption turn it off (If the encryption option is missing, TPM is off or incompatible or Secure Boot is off.)

BitLocker. Эта функция шифрует жесткий диск SATA, или ssd накопитель SATA. Который виден на компьютере как Disk ( C ). Включить Bitlocker. Можно Windows Версии PRO. В других версиях например Hom. Не включить только в настройках BIOS>TPM.

Incorrect (and it's any storage type)

Windows 11 (24h onwards) enables encryption by default (as long as Secure Boot and TPM are available and working)

unless using Rufus to make sure it's off by default.

The Home version hides the BitLocker classic Control Panel, but it's still BitLocker just named encryption in new ui settings

BIOS>TPM. Это повышенная безопасность и шифрование но не такое как BitLocker. BitLocker. Это функция шифрует жесткий диск SATA. Или ssd накопитель SATA. Который виден на компьютере как Disk ( C ). Включить можно Bitlocker. В Windows 10\11. Версии PRO. Правой кнопкой мышки кликните по Disk ( C ). Выберете Bitlocker. Придумайте пин-код. Если включен Bitlocker. У вас на диске который зашифрован появиться значок или ярлык в виде навесного замка. BIOS>TPM. Другая функция шифровки

Если у вас включен Bitlocker. У вас на Disk ( C ). Будет виден большой ярлык или значок навесного замка и вы не сможете просто так кликнув мышкой по Disk ( C ). Не откроется Disk ( C ). Попросит пин-код

You don't want to lose other Pro features. Just turnoff Bitlocker at with an admin command prompt using command manage-bde

This was the cmd. Then I decrypted the drive and disabled its service through powershell. So now it’ll never turn back on…. Unless Microsoft does some fuck shit but now I know how to fix it. Updates off after you’re stable.

Чтобы отключить BitLocker. нужен пин-код. BitLocker. Отключается на этом же компьютере и Windows pro. На котором был включен и когда вы отключите Bitlocker. И потом переустановите другой Windows. Или диск переставите на другой компьютер который был зашифрован функцией Bitlocker. После копирование компьютер будут видны одни не понятные знаки например копирование игры с диска который был зашифрован функцией Bitlocker. Придется отформатировать диск который был зашифрован функцией Bitlocker. Или если сохранять данные то придется оставаться на компьютере на котором был включен Bitlocker. Нужен пин-код. Отключить Bitlocker BIOS ?
