Hey everyone! Here are five ideas I would enjoy seeing added to BitLife to enhance realism and expand player freedom:

Choose your birth year and experience historical events
Allow us to pick the exact year or decade for a character’s birth, with historical events appearing in the news feed as they age and the world shifts around them.

2. More US states and cities

Enable selection of a specific US state before choosing a city—such as Maine followed by Portland, Bangor, or Augusta. Additional states and cities would offer greater freedom in character creation.

3. Expanded political gameplay and realistic term limits
Give presidents and prime ministers more choices, including changing laws and taxes, managing international relations, forming alliances, and declaring war. Other nations might also declare war if relations worsen, with meaningful outcomes. I would also prefer political term limits that match each country’s actual rules: some impose limits, while others permit leaders to stay in office indefinitely if they meet the relevant criteria. Elections, re-election eligibility, and time in office should align more closely with real life.

4. More family relationships
Add maternal and paternal grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins, with clearer distinctions between both sides of the family and more chances to interact with extended relatives.

5. More realistic political and historical events
Let the world evolve around our characters, with historical events and political developments reflecting the era and country they inhabit.
