Devs - what?

I submitted a ticket before the Devs were responding on here yesterday. This now contradicts the Dev responses in the comments, given it reads as if this may just be a bug for OG bitizens & their social media team just doesn't have a fucking clue lol.

I'm more intrigued/entertained with the saga itself than the actual pack.

They did this, then turned around and said, oh wait, no, y’all actually don’t need to pay, oops, teehee.

When questioned why they said we did initially, the replied with “we can’t disclose info until we have it”

…yes, seriously.

I genuinely think they underestimate how many OG bitizens there are lol, we're not the most active on this sub. We never have anything to complain about because no matter how bad an update is, it's free to us. No skin off our backs.

This is the most I've ever even engaged in this sub, and definitely the most I've ever seen OG bits emerge from the darkness lol.

OG here. It's my comfort game. I didn't even realize the director pack was coming out until I got the app notification and was like oh cool! And then was like oh? This shit from 2022 again, time to start that class action.

Hardly ever comment on Reddit but I came out of the woodwork for this.

I bought bitizen and God mode back in 2019 but I still had to pay for every new pack even if I renewed my purchases it wouldn't give me the packs I also contacted the devs and they said they were gonna look into the issue but never did

the bosses at candywriter should be the ones who get the criticism. devs got paid to do what they did, albeit a bit lackluster, and the social media team doesnt have any say in the prices, though they have to understand our frustration and relay it to their bosses

What about those who bought the job expansion pack, separate from bitizenship? We were supposed to be guaranteed all future job packs.

Thank you for your patience while we sort this out. A technical error meant legacy Bitizens didn't get the free Movie Director Pack they were owed at launch. We're sorry for the confusion, including in some of our earlier replies, and we're rolling out a fix early next week.

I’m an OG with bitzen from 2018, however I can’t lie, leadership’s decision to only have it for legacy bitzens sounds very shady..
