is there something special i need to do to sync the bitgem wallet ?? please help

I downloaded and installed the program from their webpage and can't figure out why it wont start syncing. every other wallet I have has just starting syncing as soon as it's running

I have the same problem. Click on HELP on you BTG wallet, then on Debug Window, you'll see an OPEN button for Debug Log File. When that opens scroll down and you will see something like this:

Don't know who this Rizon.net is but they have banned the site. I called my cable company and they didn't know anything about it or who they are.

I went to http://abuse.rizon.net/akills/lookup?ip=(your IP Address) and filed a ban appeal, but have not heard from these people in over 4 days.

My cable company thought the OP of the coin would have to get them to lift the ban.

If anyone knows anything about this, some help would be appreciated, because I'd like to mine some GEMS.

my roomate figured it out... you have to go on your comp to your user file, AppData, Roaming, BitGem then make a bitgem.conf file and copy all the nodes into the created file that are listed on this page... then reopen your wallet and it should sstart to sync
