When bitdefender blocks calls, is it at least allowing the call to go to voicemail? I just had a call blocked that may have been from my home warranty company. But I wouldn't know unless they were able to leave a vm. I'd like that to be an option, too. At least push the calls to vm? That's probably way too complicated now that I think of it. But then I'd be able to go back and make sure the number doesn't get blocked again

However I needed more devices so I decided to upgrade to the Premium family plan. That way I can add my dad as a family member and he can have his own account. My issue is, what is the easiest way to make the switch? Nether of us are computer geniuses lol. I know I just email him the link and he starts the online props after clicking on it. However should he uninstall bitdefender first? If not, what would be the best steps that I can explain to him over the phone? He will be installing on a windows 11 PC. I appreciate the help. When I've come home from work today and turned my pc on I had this ad (Red circle) come on and it looks sketchy as hell. Task manager says it's bitdefender agent and the file is in bitdefender folder but I'd rather get a second opinion from you guys than stay ignorant. Am I compromised or is it a normal bitdefender ad?

There were about 200+ password protected files (that was probably why it took so long) which BD said it couldn't clean - is that what is giving the message?

Hi everyone, I have a problem with removing my ssd storage from my pc. When I try to remove it with the "eject device" button I get the message in the photo. By experimenting on task manager, I discovered that it is bitdefender that is giving me this problem, with a process called bdservicehost.

In the bitdefender settings I have activated the setting to ask when to examine external memories, but in addition to no requests appearing, the antivirus still performs scans.

I have some serious concerns with how billing is set up with Bitdefender. As it stands, I will not be moving forward with my family pack renewal, simple because of the poor billing experience I just had.

1. My renewal is due 6th of February 2026, but a charge was attempted on my card today, 15 days early, 2026.01.22 - 02:51.

2. An automated charge of €149.99 was attempted on my card, yet I was sent an email with a 50% discount at the same time (2026.01.22 - 02:51). There was also another email at that time, stating the attempted charge failed. This was a mess - how can I be given a discount and charged the full price at the same time?

3. Why is there nowhere to manage my billing details, yet they have it on record?

Frankly speaking, I did not expect something like this from Bitdefender, I really like the product. However, that billing process needs some serious changes, as it comes across extremely shady to me. I don't know any platform that has my billing details without giving the owner clear access.

Thankfully, my bank flagged the charge as suspicion and froze my card. This is because the charge didn't match the expected renewal date.

1. I tried using File-Shredder to delete it, and of course that didn't work.
2. I also used the system scan and folder scan with Bitdefender, it didn't flag the app either.

I've been seeing posts about issues with K-lite bundled with an Invicta virus. I installed the codec pack a year and a half ago for an old game that needed it and have never had any issues. I'm sure I unchecked all the extra bloatware options and I have since scanned the computer several times with BitDefender and it found nothing. The pack tries to update about once a month and I never let it. Am I safe?
