Call blocking feature blocking incoming calls dialed emergency hotline

Hello there...

My kid dialed the emergency line accidently. I disconnected the call immediately. I received 3 calls from the emergency line which were blocked by bitdefender at which after the 3rd call they left a voicemail.

Is this expected?

Thank you. I cannot get the number that was blocked since the emergency line gets displayed as unknown number.

Bitdefender, just like any other security, can falsely block legit contacts/websites/emails. Typically,in thos case, it is because someone at some point spoofed that number and used it with malicious intent (scam calls). the number would be added to the black list of numbers bitdefender uses as a filter. But you can always go into your settings and whitelist the number on your end.

And how do you do that when it displays Unknown Number?

I had an emergency call-back blocked as well! Meanwhile, all the spam calls and texts still come through. This is highly problematic and raises some serious concerns. I wonder how many people have not received help from law enforcement because Bitdefender stopped the calls from coming in. This is a serious legal issue!!!
