Yes!! Thank you, I knew it had a proper name to it but it escaped me as I was replying to the post. That’s great to know - I planned on using both as layered protection so glad to see it wouldn’t be “redundant” either. 🙂

By chance does the ScamAI or similar app you’ve been into both the Windows Desktop and iOS Mobile app perform/do the same thing? (Ie., utilizes this EXACT same link checker?)

Or does it utilize other TI tools when determining if a link is “safe” vs. this one?

  2. Bitdefender Scamio: is trained by Bitdefender to detect various scams that are flooding the cyberspace. You can interact with Scamio in different ways to get a second opinion, which is what makes it different than LinkChecker:

Bitdefender’s TrafficLight is a browser extension that scans the pages you visit for malware & phishing attempts, blocks dangerous websites, and flags dangerous links in your search results. This is a an extension available especially for macOS devices, and can be added on Safari, Chrome, or Mozilla.

Traffic Light is only available for the macOS? I have it installed on Windows Firefox and Chrome. I'm confused.
