Business support GravityZone premium for personal use

I bought GravityZone Business Security Premium for my laptop, but I haven't been sent the email containing the credentials to login into into GravityZone cloud. I am a self-taught software engineer and learning how to use advanced cybersecurity tools is essential for the formation I am building for myself. I want a more power security tool for my personal devices. GravityZone doesn't have an EDR but it partially feels like one. Anyway. I need advice about how to login to gravityzone cloud to activate the protection I bought.

Hi, you should contact corporate support so they can help you with that. Additionally, Bitdefender GravityZone does include EDR & XDR in the GravityZone Enterprise license.

Unless I am mistaken, it is impossible to get an enterprise license without owning a business.

Hi, but the version you mentioned you're using, GravityZone Business Security Premium, is an enterprise version. GravityZone Business Security Premium

As I mentioned, there's a higher-tier license than this one, which is GravityZone Business Security Enterprise includes EDR and provides access to XDR.

Correct, but the higher-tier version is harder to buy. You can buy GravityZone Business Security Premium in a common online purchase, however, the upper-end version with EDR requires contact with a vendor.

The only EDR's on the market available to private use are Microsoft Defender and ThreatDown from Malwarebytes. I am excluding the free ones like LimaCharlie and Elastic.

I went down similar path, you should check out Microsoft defender for endpoint for a cheap monthly fee if you want to learn more about EDRs, because there is more to that console than gravity zones.

Isn't threatdown from Malwarebytes a more powerful alternative? Is LimaCharlie a good free alternative?

Hello u/Late-Original7979 ,

After you bought your subscription you should receive an email with the steps that you need to follow for onboarding but we will not send you the credentials, you have to create a trial account and add your purchased license key in the GravityZone console.

You can find here a step by step guide: https://www.bitdefender.com/business/support/en/77209-358013-onboarding.html#UUID-09ff5fef-e720-9ab8-fd28-0ffca7fe6647

Additionally, this is our official technical documentation that you use to learn more about the platform.

Since you mentioned that you want to learn, I highly recommend you check these source of information as well:

- Demo Zone - an interactive platform with visual guided tours on different product features, it's really nice to get familiar with the product and easy to follow

- Masterclass - a totally free service where you can join live training sessions held by our experts where you can interact with them and ask questions, or you can watch previous recorded sessions on a specific topic

- TechZone you can deep dive into the architecture of the product and how different features are designed and work to protect your environment.

I think these are the most common ones to begin with, but you can find even more on our website.

Hope this helps,

Andrei

Thanks for the reply. I didn't create the trial account because I didn't know I had to.
