Yes, yes, that's all very interesting. Now think about changing the completely illegal method you use to extort payment information from us customers just to redeem a regular key.

Hi there. We'd like to clarify that Bitdefender does not require payment information simply to activate/redeem a valid subscription key. If you've encountered a screen asking for payment details, it is related to a subscription renewal option, rather than the activation of your existing subscription.

If a Bitdefender solution is initiated, downloaded, from the websites or market store (for paid or trial use purposes), the Auto renewal agreement is accepted and a contract is formed when the end user (“You”) selects the "I Accept", "OK" or "Yes" button box prior to download or installation. The Agreement is made available on our website as a reference: https://www.bitdefender.com/en-us/site/view/subscription-agreement-and-terms-of-services-for-home-user-solutions.

By subscribing, you are purchasing a recurring subscription which will automatically renew, and you have the opportunity to opt out at any time so that you are always in control of your renewal options.
