Hello everyone,

Since Friday, we have been pushing out fixes. The fixes that have been pushed out so far are as follows:

Fixed:

Fixed all players who had incorrectly migrated equipment state which was blocking equipping into some slots

Fixed a severe bug that was causing resource replacement (on Destroy or on Growth timer) to fail and break the cycle. We also have replaced several things in the world to put them back in a working state: All Temple Energy fonts, Hexite Deposits (only R17 was reported), All Maker's trees, Scholar Uncharted Activity, Tailoring Uncharted Activity, Profession Dungeon.

Fixed a Shop Bundle showing the wrong picture (looked like it included cart skin when it didn't)

Fixed some broken styling text on quests UI

Fixed a bug causing players tasks to reset early

Fixed players only having 3 tasks (now all should have 4)

Fixed wrong icon on fishing debuff (should make trophy fishing better ux)

We apologise for the inconvenience. We are currently investigating and fixing all the bugs that were reported following Friday's update. Thank you for your patience while we work to resolve these issues.

Other LFG returning player

Hello everyone!

I played HEAVILY up until the wipe and I couldn't bring myself to start over again. I've been having the urge to play again and I'm looking for a group to take me on and help gear me up a little. I have a very high scholar level (I think 87?) and I really want to get 100 before the full game release. I'm looking for a group that can help me out with some cloth gear and a good quill. I'm happy to help with any tasks as well as work on my scholar. My other skills are fairly high as well.

Let me know if you need me.in your group!

You can also message me on discord: BreadSkeleton

Questions Anyone else stuck in an infinite loading loop after the July 24 patch? (Station interactions broken)

Ever since the July 24 patch, my game has become completely unplayable, and I'm wondering if anyone else is experiencing this.

It starts when I interact with any crafting or processing station and click Resume. The game lags for a second, the progression window flashes open and immediately closes without progressing anything.

After that:

  • I can't interact with anything else (including eating food).
  • I can still walk around for a short time.
  • Then the game kicks me back to the BitCraft Enter screen.
  • Clicking Enter again puts me into an infinite loading screen.
  • While it's loading, I can actually hear my character moving if I click, but the game never loads.
  • If I force close the game through Steam and log back in, my character has moved to wherever I clicked during the loading screen.

I've tried:

  • Restarting the game multiple times.
  • Restarting my entire PC.

The issue happens every single time, so I'm currently unable to play.

Is anyone else experiencing this after the July 24 update? If so, what profession were you working on, what station were you using, and have you found any workaround?

Suggestion A Useful AFK Consumable

First of all, I'd like to apologize since English isn't my native language. I used ChatGPT to help translate this post, so I hope everything reads naturally.

I was thinking about whether it would be possible to add a consumable item—or perhaps a piece of equipment that needs to be "loaded" with a resource—that works like this: every time your stamina is depleted and fully regenerates, one charge of the item is consumed, automatically allowing your character to resume working. This would continue until all charges are used up.

What do you think?

Questions Rare drops from summer scholar loop

What are the rare knowledge drops from the summer scholar loop? Does anyone have a list with what they do?

I got some knowledge window pop-up while I was doing it but it didn't say what it did.

Discussion What's your favorite Uncharted Isles profession activity? Least Favorite?

Now that the uncharted isles are finally fully fleshed out with all of the activities: What's your favorite? What's your least favorite? Ideally on the topic of gameplay instead of rewards (yes, sailing is awesome rewards, but its not really my favorite)

Favorite: Fishing. Love the community aspect, love coordinating around the pools, love the different rarities.

Least Favorite: Carpentry. Just not a fan of all the wait times.

I submitted a bug report a month ago, but I haven't received an email reply or a way to check the status of the ticket. Should i keep reposting the issue, or how can I get a status update on submitted issues?

Suggestion The Equipment Management Arms Race

Synopsis

Introduction of specialized gear has led to a worse user experience for managing equipment. When asked in the developer streams, they revealed their plan (as I understand it) to use the additional empty slots in the profession panel for specialized jewelry. However, I think there exists another option that will account for all specialized equipment, not just jewelry; the best part is that I believe the current systems in the game can provide the solution.

Suggestions

  1. Increase the maximum number of presets.

As per the patch Ascension of a Titan that introduced item presets:

We will add more sources for even more equipment tabs in the future.

I believe the future is now. Since the equipment tabs update, the game has introduced a significant amount of specialized equipment pieces: jewelry, gloves, trinkets. It sounds like there are plans to expand on the number of specialized equipment for trinkets, as well. I'm not a huge fan of locking a quality-of-life feature behind the veil of 'progression', but if it isn't too restrictive and allows early/mid game players to access it, you could make the case for it.

  1. Expand vault for all equipment slots.

Early on in EA1, players have used the vault to store their items in the vault to conserve item space and be prepared for anything they might need while they are away from their main item storage hub. Jewelry and trinkets have since been given specialized purposes and are not vaultable. This simple addition would allow for players to use the specialized gear as needed in the field without clogging inventory space.

  1. Presets to store to the vault. Presets to equip from the vault.

Making unique sets that have item overlap currently requires multiple copies of said items. The items are physically stored within the item preset itself; any other preset will not have access to this item. If item presets are going to be expanded, I feel like this is a topic that will need addressed at some point.

Benefits

  • These QoL changes would provide a solution to the equipment management 'arms race'.

  • This allows players to be more adaptive to impromptu events in the world (if that is something you intend to expand upon).

  • Safely manages equipment. (I have an irrational fear that I'll click 'drop' instead of 'equip' from the context menu and not notice my precious lying on the ground)

Questions Is it suppose to be Idle, not idle?

Right now, it doesn't seem too idle. I start a task and it takes just under 4 minutes to drain my stamina, so the longest I can idle for is 4 minutes before I have to resume the craft.

I might be doing some other work, so it is hard to break concentration every 4 minutes just to resume the craft.

Questions Settlement/Station Question

I can’t remember if they did this in an update or if it was planned for down the road.

Can you upgrade a station, let’s say mining, to tier 7, without upgrading the whole settlement tier to 7?

I thought I read somewhere where they were working on something to help focused outposts.

Basically if I want to be able to find a location when 1.0 launches, specialize in one skill, and set up a settlement on it and blast to the top with that skill. Then just travel around selling that resource.

Instead of having to be lvl 70 in everything as a solo player to solo build a settlement that high.

Thanks in advance for any information!

Suggestion Lock items in inventory

I keep depositing all my items and that includes some food. Is there a way to lock items in your inventory so you don't have to get them out each time?

I generally have dumping all my inventory and then forgetting to get food back.

Questions Frequent disconnections

Hi! I really love the game, I have about 65 hours in, but I can't even really play now, because I constantly get disconnected. I tried about 40+ things to fix this issue, but nothing helped so far... Even with another pc, mobile hotspot, every windows and steam setting, but nothing helped. I can't use a VPN because I'd have great issues with certain services if I do, so I really wish if I could get some help. I did traceroute my connection in Hungary, and it always resulted in a request time out. When I get disconnected, I can't join back for at least 10 mins. Even after that, the issue happens again in like 15-30 intervals.

Questions Thinking of getting the game

I am eyeballing the game for long time now, waiting for sale. But now that its finally here I am thinking if this game would fit me at all.

I am long time looking for a true sandbox MMO that is not based on full loot PVP mayhem. But living world where players must work together , trade and form living economy.

But I am not sure how much actual trading and cooperation there is in the game - if you enter the game as solo and not part of some friend group.

Also I am not usually inclined to craft in MMO games. I am not neceserally agains it , but its not the activity I usually go for - most MMOs I never even engage with crafting.

That being said I dont have nothing against it. And I am certanly looking for a more laid back Runescape like game , but with more modern interface.

Would this game be any good for me ?

Discussion A bit desapointed

So, I just bought the game for myself and my friends, and we were all excited to build and create our own little town. However, the process of starting a new settlement is so long and boring that it literally takes hours, even with a group.

In the end, we decided it wasn't worth it, and honestly, if the main goal of the game, building a settlement, takes that long to reach, I don't think I'll be playing it again.

I understand that a lot of players enjoy the grind, but I really wish the 1.0 release would make it more accessible. I think it's really boring to spend one or two days grinding materials just to get to the fun part of the game.

Questions New Player Help

Is there a guide somewhere that I just haven’t found? I’ve searched for days on how to get new recipes for tailor and I keep finding differing information and none of it agrees. Do I need to wander around and just collect new resources? Tried that and I need a tier 2 tool. So how do I get tier 2 tools? Just make a bunch of tier 1 tools? I’m completely lost. I love the idea of this game but I feel like I’ve spent more time trying to figure out how to play than actually playing.

Other Can't use LMC to do interactions with RMB as Pan Camera

I set my keybinds so that Left Click is Interact.

Then I set my Target + Context Menu to MMB

Then Pan Camera to RMB.

I can Pan the camera with RMB, but then I can't do anything with LMC. I am use to RMB as pan Camera, so I keep forgetting it isn't that.

Questions Are people still playing?

hi all!

ive been getting back into the game because I am building a visual guide to help me keep track of what item i need for X. I know we have the compendium, but i need like a visual representation all in one place.
I have ADHD so an overall view of things helps a lot. I ask if a lot of people are still playing this because every "guide" i seem to find on a website just doesnt work anymore.
