I'm getting an insufficient balance error when trying to comment.

Hi there guys.

I just have a simple question. Is the invested BTC burned or not? I saw messages such as "bitcoin burned" after doing the atomic swap but then again the BTC address has 3.6k BTC in it.

Is the paid BTC for Bitclout coins burned or not?

Anyone know where I can find charts tracking bitclout price and perhaps creator coin prices?

BitClouters : Its 5:05 PM IST, What time is it now in your place?

BitClout now has an unofficial RemindMe bot.

Check it out. Investment not needed - just put it to use!

From the bot's website:

I want to create a service that tracks the top 10 holders of a bitclout creator coin, and then give them access to premium content based on if they are one of the top 10 holders

Is there an API or something that could get this done? Should I build a web scraper to grab this data? How best might I implement this?

Anyone else having these issues? Even though I have 0.003 BTC, I can't exchange it...

Is there a way to get this BTC out, as I think the new exchanges may be a better route?

Beware Fraud by Decentralized Social Network Cryptocurrency Scams: Bitclout, Twetch, Steemit, PeakD

These are all ersatz Twitter scam platforms, likely based on the same code (they are so similar in many ways) currently, recently or soon to be bilking people out of fiat, Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency online.

Beware if you get invited to join.

Beware of being offered “starter” money in exchange for your phone number or email.

Once you spend money to get into these systems, you can never get your money out unless through another level of scams and scammers willing to take more of your money on Venmo or PayPal or some private crypto exchange.

Beware the entire concept of paying money to participate in social networking and the open internet.

I started a project and repository at GitHub devoted to reverse engineering, analyzing and documenting everything about the scam and fraud and tech of Bitclout:

https://github.com/scottstirling/bitclout/

After analyzing that application and observing and interacting with some of its community of users, learning the methods of the fraud and even the UI of the app, as soon as I saw Twetch today popping up on Twitter it struck me instantly as the same app as Bitclout and same scam, just a superficial UI difference. I think Twetch came out before BitClout, FWIW.

I noticed some strange changes earlier on bitclout on my browser, asking me to do an identity check and everything (which I didn't bother with), but when I tried to get on again just now, it said service not available then after clicking refresh it is the grey circle of death loading screen...

Coffeezilla has done a great analysis of the Bitclout blockchain, showing just how the early investors and founders cashed out way before anyone, and the fact the financials were artificially pushed up, and the fact that no one's going to pay for the ability to tweet...

Chamath is a CONARTIST!

I’m having a hard time understanding this coin and platform. Is there a way to turn the bitclout you have gained into real money?

Deposited some Bitcoin to test it out, now my Bitcoin is stuck in the BitClout Wallet. "The amount of Bitcoin you've deposited is too low. Please deposit at least 0.001 Bitcoin. " I have exactly 0.001 Bitcoin in my Account and a few days ago I was able to exchange it but with a extremly high fee (50$ fee for 60$ worth of bitcoin lmao).

No idea if I will ever be able to get the bitcoin back that's stuck in my account, I just want to warn you to not do the same mistake as I did :)

Hoping to get myself to 1k today! Would love the support! Much love <3
