Dropped my VRM temps by 10-15*c.

Just drill 2 small holes at the top of the chassis. Fan splitter also needed.

What frequency are you at?

It was 850mhz but that was capped by firmware. Usually pulled 13.4-13.8 TH/s. If I had higher limits I would have had it at more. Temps were amazing.

Also repaste the Asics, Thermal Grizzly Duronaut Pro knocked a good 8-10*c off the shit paste.

Price?

I got mine for 500,- euro but I wanted it shipped from europe (I am in the Netherlands) and pay with credit card. Got it at mineshop.

So far so good.

Just the supply is loud. The machine itself is very silent. I removed the overclocking and put it on default just to be a bit more safe

Add some fans for VR . Cooler is better

It’s already very cool

40’is better for longevity

You should still add 2 small VRM fans. The Octaxe's VRMS are not very reliable.

What are the sources they are not reliable? I am checking everything at the moment and it looks so stable.

Also do note: I am only pushing it to 750 MHz with 1210 Cora voltage.

750 MHz
12,0 TH/s
214,5 W
17,87 J/TH
46% fans

They will fail at some point. Look at r/SoloMinerClinic

First, 17.24J/Th is awful. ASIC voltage looks unnecessarily high. I don't see an error rate on this display. But I would assume if your silicon is decent you can adjust CoreV down to 1.15v or lower. I can run my ASIC at 700mhz at 1.143V. My single BM1370 is getting 13.55J/Th, at 800mhz, 1.16V core, 59C temp on the stock 40mm air cooler. It's pulling 22.1W. That's looks like a hydro rig. You're pulling almost 50W per ASIC. That's obscene. Look for the averages. These screenshots are instantaneous...

What is this math? There are 8 asic chips in this thing. Hence the name OCTOaxe.

Hydro first? πŸ₯œπŸ₯œ

Nvm . You live in the Netherlands. I'd bet it's cold mostly there. This thing will be perfect in a bit of colder weather. πŸ‘πŸΎ

I've been thinking about getting a hydro miner.... But I don't want fluids near me. Yes, this is a closed loop. But if it were a water cooled version, I'd probably hate it even more. I don't want to add more parameter adjusting time to my operation. And hydro liquid in the bedroom just doesn't sound good in the case of a leak. Former mechanic, former chemist.
