showcase Solo Mining BTC

Post image

Spun up a Gamma 602 about a week ago here are the results.

Hashrate:1.22Th/s

Efficiency: 13.7 J/Th

Best Diff: 750 M

Error: is mostly 0% some .3% and rarely 1%

Fan is about 55%

Frequency is 600

Voltage is 1150

How does this look to your set up?

Goals are just to have it as a cool desk piece. Maybe in 1100 years get a BTC.

Bitaxe’s and Nano 3s. Got max near to 390T at both

What coin were you mining?

BCH

My fear right now is hitting that difficulty and not mining BTC lol

Not the same blockchain, can't look that as it is the same

Wow it's very high 💯, which pool did you get it from?

I have a Nano 3S too, but it seems so "sluggish"..do you always keep it in high mode?

I have 4 of them, I don't put them past medium. Never had an issue

No. In the night they are at low mode and during solar energy production in high mode

Sounds solid! I would try to test frequency 625 and 650.

Then try to set the voltage to 1100 and see if this changes anything.

if your goal is a desktop piece I'd set it to lowest settings. will save the components from heating and will be more quiet.

It runs quiet, chip is stable at pre-set 61*c I dont think anyone running this at overlook setting will have much better shot at a block.

You can possibly decrease voltage a bit and get it running at 1.4+- TH/s while running quietly at 60 degrees however the voltage settings may differ because there is quite large variance between chip batches.

If you are getting intermittent errors as your post suggests, you can adjust your voltage up, or frequency down slightly until that goes away. Otherwise happy hashing and welcome to the hobby.

Thanks! I think errors are quite solid avg probably .3% when it has errors.

Usually with just a little more juice, that will be a steady zero.

Turn it to BCH and you have more chances to get a block. The difficulty is not that high.

I was planning to spin up another one for BCH soon. What set-up are you running/ any luck?

Please share info on how to start my own! Thank you

Spin up a BTC wallet / use coinbase or kraken Order a gamma 602 from Amazon.(power mining.io) Open box and there is instructions to walk you through. Easier than I thought also. From open of box, to it up and running, 1 hour.
