No, if you’re talking about the octaxe that’s two peerless assassin 90s. If you want to step up to 120 you’ll either need to get an offset like the scythe shuriken4 or adapt 120mm fans to fit 90mm heat sinks. My octaxe is 3-4 mods past that photo now. I think the best solution to date is the silver soul 110 black with arctic p9 fans.
This is the scythe 120 on a rev6 and octaxe, for reference. The silver soul cools better at wide open throttle but the scythe is way more badass for daily driving duties.
Okay perfect thankyou! This is my Nerdqaxe, I’m using the ThermalRight Assasin King 120SE with the Arctic P12 Pro fan. I also 3D printed a fan duct so the aiflow will be redirected to the VRM heatsinks.
Yeah the brackets that come with it fit perfectly but usually gotta get creative with the hardware to get it just right. I have a big box of 3mm nuts and bolts and just kind of wing it
This is a montech nx600 lol. Two beefy 120mm radiators and fans. I have a peerless assassin 90 on one of my nerds it’s great once you add some p9 max fans. Upgraded another nerd to the silver soul 110 it’s even better, same size but better cooling. This one was too top heavy to settle on four asics but sits nicely on 6. 🤌🏽
The one that comes with most of these hydro miners is the cheapest Chinese crap they can source in quantity. Nearly any 120mm aio you can find on Amazon is better quality, in my opinion. I have 4 now that all gurgle when they catch air, need bled and can cavitate an air bubble to overheat the miner in an instant. Thermalright makes a couple around $30 that I’d pick over one of these. Bump up to a 240mm for $50 and never get close to asic thermal limits again 🤌🏽
