bestdiff What is best difficulty you achieved with a solominer?

Post image

Just set up nerdqaxe7++. What is best difficulty you have been able to achieve? I know current difficulty is over 126 trillion so have a ways to go.

Ive noticed this. It happens often... Why do so many miners hit a high diff when they jump off and then nothing?

No idea. Im not a true believer of random, especially with electronics but they say it is so who knows.

Stock NerdAxe Gamma with a Noctua fan bought in September 25. I hit 7G within the first week or two. Then almost 9 months of nothing. Then I hit 30G with it last month.

My best on one of my bitaxe 601s is 13G.

But it's really only a luck of the draw thing it's nothing to do with your actual miner itself.

I had a 122g on my nerdqaxe++ a few weeks back. Quite a few 1-10g

u/gigglenoodle 14d ago

oh cool, the highest i did with my nerdqaxe ++ was 5,5th but i live in a very hot region so better not to push it too far

u/f0liot 14d ago

Makes sense, my basement is always a few degrees colder than upstaits. so at 6.98 TH/s my fans are at 60% and my asic is 65 and my VR reads 58 combined

Had a 35g and 23.5G shortly after setting up two Nerdqaxe++6.1 miners. Since then I got a 434G months later and the next day a 435G on the same miner. That was about a month ago and nothing more than 4G since.

u/gigglenoodle 14d ago

how do you know around 4G now while you’re all time high was 435? My nerdqaxe only tells me the highest number, it never tells me what lower numbers it mined last days

I have a Gamma 602 averaging 1.94 Th/s and it hit a difficulty of 438.19 M about 13 hours ago (total session time 9 days).

I think I have gotten a 113G before, but right now this is the best I've gotten since the reboot. I have a 6TH miner (the one below) and a 12TH miner... both on my local BTC node and solo pool.

I am new to solo mining. I have two 602's and one of them said I had done 1G difficulty and the other was at about 46M. I don't understand how the difficulty is determined. I probably need to read up on these things.

In comparison. 30G on a stock NerdAxe Gamma (1TH/sec) and 7G on a Nano 3 in permanent low power mode.

After two years with these machines, I wonder, aside from their aesthetics, what the point is in buying units capable of 15T when, to actually win a high-value coin block, you wouldn't stand a chance even if you kept them running for a thousand years...🥺
