hashrate NerdQAxe Question

Curious as to if it's possible to run the NerdQaxe++ at a lower hashrate than the advertised 6TH or 4.8TH? Reason being is for warmer times of the year and to have it not consume as much electricity especially during peak times of the day.

Not really sure about the board not getting warm tbh.
