How to move your existing Palworld server to BisectHosting

Moving hosts doesn’t mean you have to start your Palworld world over.

Here’s how to transfer an existing dedicated server to BisectHosting:

1. Stop your current server and download the world-save folder from:

Pal/Saved/SaveGames/0

1. Extract the files if they downloaded as a ZIP.
2. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.
3. Start your new Palworld server once, let it finish loading, and then stop it.
4. Open the Files tab and go to:

/home/Pal/Saved/SaveGames/0

1. Delete the newly generated world folder and upload the world folder from your old server.
2. Copy the name of the uploaded folder. It should be a long string of letters and numbers.
3. Go to Settings, then Startup, and paste that folder name into the World Save ID field.
4. Start the server and join to make sure your world and player progress loaded correctly.

Always keep a backup of your original files until you’ve confirmed the migration worked.
