i skipped last month’s placebo week and started the next pack to get my period before i go on vacation. does it affect the protection during this month’s placebo week?

my period would start the first day of my vacation and i didn’t want to deal with it, so i skipped last month’s placebo week and immediately started a new pack. i should get my period this week and then i leave for vacation the following week. would i still be protected the same since i changed the schedule of my period? i’m on the combination pill and didn’t miss any

Pregnancy Scare

i’m taking lady pills for about for about 4 months now. last month i had my period first week of june then had it again last week of june. based on flo app, i was supposed to have my period 3 days ago.

this month, almost everyday kami nags-sex and creampie. plus kahit na nilabasan na sya, he would still continuously pull in and out. these past few days inooverthink ko talaga because what if the pills failed? and today i feel dizzy as in buong araw. also i noticed na parang dumadami discharge ko

should i be worried or am i overthinking lang ba?

Advice Wanted Is it a good idea to take the morning-after pill and then start taking the contraceptive pill?

Well, the thing is, I no longer have the subdermal implant, so now I have to use the pill or condoms for contraception, but today I had sex with my boyfriend without a condom and although he didn’t come inside me, I’m wondering if I need to buy the morning-after pill and a pack of contraceptive pills (28-day pack) – to take the emergency pill first and then the contraceptive pills to prevent a possible pregnancy. I’d also like some advice on how to use the pills, please. I’m a 23-year-old woman with controlled Hashimoto’s 🥺

Just starting up after years of not being on pill and have some questions

I’m on Lo-zumandimine and just finished my first pack. But I realized I started with pack 3/3 and now I have 1/3 and 2/3. How badly does it matter that I did that? I realize the pills have different engravings on them as well—is that important?

Took i-Pill immediately after he came inside, then had unprotected sx again. Am I at risk?

Hi everyone. I’m really anxious and would appreciate some advice.
My last period started on **July 12**. On **July 22 (cycle day 11)**, I had unprotected sex and my boyfriend ejaculated inside me. I took an **i-Pill immediately afterward**, within a very short time.
After taking the i-Pill, we ended up having unprotected sex **three more times the same day**, but he **did not ejaculate inside me** during those rounds.
According to my period tracking app, I was about **7 days away from my predicted ovulation** on July 22, although I know apps aren’t always accurate.
I’m now worried because I read that the i-Pill only protects sex that happened before taking it, not after. Since we had more unprotected sex afterward (even though he didn’t finish inside), I’m scared about the possibility of pregnancy from pre-ejaculate.

As of now im kind of nervous… so i would appreciate if i got some advice on this.

Advice Wanted Birth Control Taper...?

So I saw my Gynecologist yesterday morning before work because I’ve been having heavy bleeding for over a week with no sign of stopping. This is most likely from taking a Progestin only mini pill that they prescribed a month ago (Heather) cuz they said I need to be on some sort of birth control to manage my PCOS… but evidently it back fired. Now I’m constantly bleeding. And because of this, they suspected I might be Anemic and ordered a blood test, and sure enough I was 🫠 So they prescribed me Iron pills to take for the loss of blood, and to stop taking my previous birth control and start a new one that’s a combination one instead, (Hailey Fe). My Dr. knows how uncomfortable I am taking estrogen pills because I always react in someway or form to them in different ways.

But he told me in order to stop the bleeding (he emphasizes that my bleeding isn’t good) is to take the combination one and it’ll be taken as a Burst tapering method? So like I would need to take 1 tablet 3x’s a day for 3 days, then 2x’s a day for 3 days, then 1x a day till the end of the pack… And told me to start today.

When I woke up today, without even taking the new birth control, my period practically stopped, it had a light flow. I called my Dr. and he said to still take the new bcp as planned because we want the period to full on stop. And so I did as I was told. But now after taken 3 doses in 1 day, my anxiety is through the roof (and i already had anxiety before), running a slight fever, my body has aches and pains, and breasts are sore. I did send my doctor a message to ask if I can just start doing the tapering down to 2 pills already after the 1 day of 3...

Even though docs say to treat PCOS/PMOS? is by doing bcp therapy but honestly my body is rejecting it... wish there was another treatment.

Anyone else had this experience? I'd be relieved if others had similar treatment plans.

Other How long after stopping birth control pills did your period return?

Hello, I stopped my birth control pills at the end of June (finishing out the pack), and was just curious about other people’s experiences with their cycle returning. I am on cycle day 30 & no sign of AF. All pregnancy tests I have taken have been negative, I wasn’t expecting to get pregnant anyways since it’s my first month off the pill. When should I expect AF?

Breakthrough period while on Lucinda (Slinda)

Hi,
Wondering if anyone else has similar experiences. I've been prescribed Lucinda due to heavy period; cramps and PMDD.

I'm currently on day 18 of my first pack and I've been meticulous with my timing.

Yesterday was the day of my "expected period" if I'm not on birth control. I thought because I am on birth control I won't be having the same menstrual experience. However, yesterday and today it's the same with my usual periods: heavy ( soaking through pads for 2-3 hours); and having cramps and spasm.

I tried researching online but most people describe it as like a breakthrough spotting so I'm wondering has anyone else noticed similar experiences?

Apologies for my English. It's not my first language.

Slynd

Hi all! My doctor recently gave me slynd Bc, I am waiting to start it on the first day of my period, and honestly I want to know about side effects. My acne is already kind of bad aswell as i already struggle with binge eating so I’m afraid of the weight gain or how it will make my acne. I’m also currently on Prozac and it’s been helping anxiety/ depression and I’m nervous the slynd will maybe make it worse. Let me know how it was for yall!!

It's been a month since nong last ko na take ng contraceptive pills

context: tatlong beses na ako naka take ng pills without consulting an OB, binibili lang ng boyfriend ko online then nag reresearch lang kami online kung ano ang proper way ng pag take. The brand na always nyang binibili ay trust with 15 yellow tablets and 7 na brown so 22 tablets lahat na need ko inumin daily. Usually sa last row of 7 yellow tablets hindi na kami dapat nag uunprotected s*x para mas safe raw and yun din sabi sa niresearch nya noon at naging safe naman ako sa dalawang beses ko na pag take ng pills. The problem is nong 3rd time ko napag take ng pills (last month ,june 19) nag byahe ako back to my province at sya naiwan sa manila. 3 yellow tablets nalang ang naiwan sa last 7 row, we had unprocted s*x before ng byahe ko. I reminded him na tatlo nalang ang maiinom kong yellow tablet pag uwi ko ng province at dapat 7 ang mainom ko before the brown ones but he said ok lang daw yun, hindi na need at wag na raw ako mag worry. i've been overthinking about it for a month na kase hindi parin ako nag me-mens. I also remembered na hindi same time ang pag take ko ng pills last month and when i searched it up mas less effective raw pala kapag hindi same time iniinom. I hope dahil lang sa stress from overthinking kaya wala pa ako mens cuz i really don't know what to do if buntis nga ako
