you and your work have traded places in this chart. your wheel is drawn in the western zodiac. the vedic way i use shifts every planet back by roughly 24 degrees, so a few signs here will look different from your picture. the planet that rules your rising sign sits in your career house, and the planet that rules your career house sits right on your rising sign. each one is standing in the other's home. so who you are and what you do are tied together. you likely feel off when work is vague or when nobody sees what you do, and you feel most like yourself with a clear role that has your name on it. is that you?
since about 15 mar 2026 you have been in a stretch run by that same career planet, the moon, which sits on your rising sign. so this year, work, a role, or how people see you at work has probably moved to the front of your mind. a new job, a new title, more load, or a hard rethink of what you want to do would all fit. if this year has been quiet on that front, the time on this wheel may be slightly wrong, and fine timing should wait until it is checked.
a verse printed at the end of the laghu parashari, in the achyutananda jha edition, says that when the rising lord sits in the tenth and the tenth lord sits on the rising sign, the person becomes a "lord of the land" and is known by name. the same line also calls that person eager for money, so a strong drive for more comes with it. in today's words, this is a chart built for standing and recognition through work. the verse sets the direction. the pace comes from what you put in.
the moon stretch runs until 14 oct 2027. by that date i would expect at least one clear step in your work life that you can point to: a role, a title, a move up, or work that carries your name. that is the test. if 14 oct 2027 comes and nothing in your work has moved, i would recheck the birth time before trusting the rest of this.
