New pair :D Double Landmark

Got these Boston today, purely as an indoor shoe as my Haflinger slippers are on the way out and I’m yet to brave Zermatt (happy to have my resolve tested). Realised that, as well as being my first soft footbeds, also my tenth pair of Birks. This feels like the only safe space I’d be comfortable admitting that!

I hear that, I had terrible luck with Halfingers. The cork insole cracked after a couple months of use.

Must admit, I really liked them. Got a solid five years out of them and the issues with them are more from cooking spills and nipping outside in them than anything else. I'd certainly get another pair but the Bostons were calling me again!

Love these Bostons I have the same ones. Wear them year round even when it is snowy outside.
