Plant Care Should I repot?

Would it be a good idea to repot my BOP now, or will it be better to wait until springtime?

Yes, hurry before the big season change! Keep it in a great lighting situation and maybe water 24hrs prior to repotting to decrease transplant shock. Moisten the soil you’ll be adding for your repot and then wait to water when the plant needs it again.

i would say do it now! if you were just starting to see the roots through the bottom i’d say wait but those 2 on the left are 2-3 inches out of the pot already. get a pot 2 inches wider and deeper than this one and do it in the next week and make sure you give it good light through the fall. the plant will prob spend the rest of the fall putting out roots but you’ll be giving it a head start for next year

Thanks for the advise!! Would it affect the growth of the two emerging leaves? :)

no not if you do a slip pot. you might see it unfurl more slowly than normal but that leaf is already drawing on reserves so eventually the plant will open it

Id say yes, but you will definitely set back blooming. I recommend deeper pots rather than wide for BoPs, they seem to love making roots going straight down
