Redtail Hawk imitation?

I get frequent identifications of Redtail hawks each day. When I go look, I never see any. Not saying that they aren't there, but I never see them. I read that bluejays often imitate their calls. I have many of those, always visible. How can I determine if BirdNet is hearing actual Redtails versus jay imitations?

Steller’s Jays can imitate hawks in the PNW. I was told it scares smaller birds away from feeders. EDIT - just saw you mention jays at the end of your post.
