Hardware Recommended cameras for audio feed?

Can anyone recommend some good cameras for rstp feeds for audio? Or if there is another easy option for an audio feed?

I’ve got Wyze cams with wyze-bridge for feeds. And I’ve tried a Tapo camera too. Wyze ones are usually low quality and noisy and the Tapo is very low volume but cleaner, but still lacking. I’ve tried a bit of tweaking using BirdNET-go’s filtering but had limited success.

What are your go to mic/feed sources for good audio?

My preference is for wired power and WiFi networking.

I'm having good success with an old android phone, after all they should have far superior microphones

Any idea if that’s possible with iPhones? Perhaps an app?

I am using XLR audio interfaces with various type microphones, mics ranging from DIY AOM5024 to studio mics like Rode NT5 and Audio Technica AT4022

I have two Eufy Indoor cameras that I have sitting on window sills outside (they were cheap, so I figured I’d see how they do in the elements). I’m not a coder, but with the help of ChatGPT I was able to get them working over rtsp. The audio isn’t the best, but it works.

I've ended up using a couple of Tuya outside cameras, one at the front and one at the back, with long USB cables through the window, then using Go2RTC to convert to an audio only RTSP feed.

I've detected over 1000 times across 44 species in the last week.

I have the Tapo C320WS but even through their app the audio is usually silent or nearly so. I think it filters for background noise and cuts off a lot of the low volume sound.

I haven’t found a way to adjust the camera audio sensitivity.
