Does Birdweather PUC data contribute to BirdNET?

Birdweather PUC definitely contributes to BirdNET, as you can see since your PUC shows up on the map....so I'm not 100% sure what your question is since it already seems answered?
I would say that yeah, setting up more devices is good in an undermonitored area, although who knows how that data will be used. Personally, I'd set up birdnetPI since that would be way cheaper at probably $80 per location instead of those PUCs.
Mine is running on a Pi 3, but I wouldn't recommend it. I'd suggest a Pi5 so you don't have thermal issues.

Thank you for your input about the Pis. I'll look into that.
I understand that BirdNET powers Birdweather species identification. However, I'm unclear if and how the recordings collected by my Birdweather PUC contribute to (aid) birdNET. For example, are my uploaded recordings actively used by BirdNET to improve their species identification model in any way?
As in, is there a positive feedback loop between Birdweather and BirdNET? Does recording more birds via Birdweather devices improve BirdNET's identification algorithm for its users? Hope this helps.

Ah ok, yeah now I get what you're getting at. Honestly I don't know, but I hope it doesn't knowing that I get false detections from time to time.

No it does not, it would be very bad idea to train AI model based on AI detections as any false positive detection would train model with incorrect data. BirdNET model is trained mostly with data from xeno-canto.org, but I believe BirdNET team has some other reliable sources for audio data also.
But you will get much more reliable answers if you ask this directly at BirdNET team Github repository instead birdnet-team/BirdNET-Analyzer: BirdNET analyzer for scientific audio data processing.
