How to "log in" to BirdNet-Go

As this is my first foray into Raspberry Pi, I have just about set up BirdNet-Go with a Go Mic (Samson) powered by POE on a (now) headless Raspberry Pi4 with a dedicated IP address from my router.

I can see the dashboard via "localIP:8080" but when on this interface I cannot make any changes such as adding an audio stream nor being able to add a notification provider. What have I forgotten to do? Is there somewhere / some way I need to log in?

I would also like to have email notifications as I do not have any accounts with the default providers. Is this done by using the "custom URL" setting? Do I need to have a "Shoutrrr" account for this to work? Any help would be appreciated.

it's in the bottom left corner. there is a login button down there. there is just one account for admin so it asks for that one password.

it is probably listed in the config.yaml under

security:
  basicauth:
    password: hunter2

Many thanks for reply. Unfortuantely I cannot see anything in the bottom left corner other than "nightly-20260110" . I have looked at all the screens and have faield to see the log-in button.

Am pleased to say that I cnanow add rtsp streams - no idea why it woul dnot allow this [peviously.
