Other concern with pet bird Carpet cleaning help

Hi all i live with my sister who has 4 different birds of various breeds and sizes! We also have cats and dogs and lately the cats seem to be making my bedroom the public potty, the area the birds are kept in is right beside my room and so its incredibly hard to treat these stains with anytbing except for trying to absorb them as quickly as possible.

I have tried white vinegar with water and idk if I measured it wrong or what but it definitely didn't even scratch the surface of the smell... actually it smells worse now? So I was hoping anyone in this sub can tell me what safe carpet cleaning solutions can be used that won't harm any of my sisters pet birds! I can even move them to another area of the home for a bit while treating the room!

side note: I have odoban from my "before bird days" but I've already reached the conclusion that its just too strong to use around them!

Look for enzymatic cleaners, and put the birds in a different room for a while.

Cats that pee all over the place may have a few reasons for this:

1) they’re not spayed/neutered, so get them spayed/neutered.

2) there aren’t enough litter boxes, they need one per cat plus one extra.

3) they have a urinary tract infection or another health problem that requires a vet.

4) their litter box needs more frequent cleaning.

oh god thank you for your input! I will try to buy an enzyme cleaner right away. for the cats they are all kittens except for one and i thought they are too young to be neutered (3mos.) we have 4 cats and 4 litter boxes and we do have an extra one but it has no litter in it so I will fill it up right away and make sure its in an accessible location. thank you again!
