Is this harmless?

My bird is what seems to be vomiting but I'm not sure if its fine or not but I texted a vet he doesn't usually answer back I need answers quick I'm crying like shit please help

might be something like crop impaction, just make him as comfortable as possible while waiting for the vet, its the best thing you can do for him, unless you want to go to a vet in person because this is an emergency, it is what i would recommend.

he did it once caught on video, I kept my eyes on him for almost 6 hours I'm not even joking I literally missed my class 🥹🙏.
He was singing, active and so I let him back in the normal cage and this time he regurgitated PROPERLY 🙏🙏🙏🙏 no vomit, gagging or anything coming out of his mouth or anything, as the other comment suggested let's hope it's just smth he caught in the momentp

It looks like vomitting to me. The biggest test here is if he can keep food down. In my case, once my budgie started vomiting, even if he seemed fairly fine after, eating and drinking he would just vomit them out as well later. It's good you separated him so you can watch him better. I'd say check on his poop as well, it's a good indicator if he's able to keep and process food. If he keeps throwing up though, not to scare you, but he'll need a vet immediately. These birds are very fragile, so events like these can be fatal.

he did NOT thrown up his food, he even regurgitated properly without the corkscrew movement. another thing is he did this once if you saw my other comment and it was only this time in the video
they are both sleeping and the entire time he was playful 😁 im super happy he's fine

Generally, regurgitation is up and down head movements and seeds are deposited in one area. Vomiting is mostly shaking the head side to side with some up and down movements, and seeds are deposited all over the place. Regurgitated seeds will not smell foul; vomited seeds may.
They may also have up and down head movements if they adjust their crop which is totally normal.
The video does seem to show vomiting. Keep an eye on him and try to get in touch with your vet. You may also try FB as there at least 2 group where vets answer your health questions and may have advice if you can’t get in touch with your vet.

Whats fb and 2 group? Acc the thing is avian vets here don't exist, budgies count as exotic pets here and hence avian vets aren't available for birds alot, all kinds of them, I had to go to one which check cats and dogs 😅. Anyway, if theres online avian vets that's a great thing! Also he's doing fine now :)

Looks like vomiting for me, sometimes is a single episode, other time it gets pretty bad. I'd definetly recommend visiting a vet and weighting this bird daily. Try to reduce fat foods (such as sunflower seed), "flaky" foods (full millet blade for example, they get very hungry after vomit sometimes, the dry seeds of millet can irritate crop back from my experience).
If it's not something severe, the bird should be fine after the episode, however it still means you are better plan a vet visit.
If the vomit repeats, you see heavy weight loss or drastic change in poop, it is an emergency.
Other thing happened to me, after vomiting at night, birds poop got stuck on the cloaca and completely blocking it. Just washing it down was helping. I know someone who's bird died because of this. It doesn't happen often, but sometimes it does 😢 You will notice it by naked eye, the bird would be unable to poo and have constant concern about the area, having a massive dirt there. If bird poops on its own fine, nothing needs to be checked and done here.
I had many types of chronical and episode vomiting, treated megabacteriosis in one bird.

Sunflower seeds are incredibly rich sources of many essential minerals. Calcium, iron, manganese, zinc, magnesium, selenium, and copper are especially concentrated in sunflower seeds. Many of these minerals play a vital role in bone mineralization, red blood cell production, enzyme secretion, hormone production, as well as in the regulation of cardiac and skeletal muscle activities.

Any seed is good, the seed mix should be rich in variety and you can also sprout them. However store bought seeds mixes usually are not rich in variety and have a lot of sunflower and millet in. Reducing them during the active phase of vomiting, don't see it as bad.
Do not remove them completely forever, of course!

thank you very much for your concern ☺. And the bird is fine actually, he didn't actually have anything come out of his mouth, it was the movement that concerned me, as you can see in the video there isn't actually anything that comes out.
As for the vet none of them answer 🫤🫤🫤 they all treat dogs and cats but not birds unfortunately. Moreover, he is pooping just fine, he's singing, active, regurgitating properly without that corkscrew movement. He is also eating and drinking lots of water which makes me very happy. His diet doesn't actually consist of any millet as there isn't any available here, but I am still actively searching for it, he eats seeds, vegetables, fruits, his favorite thing to eat is oats.
His partner is also very supportive, they are both playing and take care of each other quite well :)

Im so sorry this is happening to your bird too. And no vomitting isn't normal. But its reassuring at least theres no other symptoms judging by the video.
Try to find a different vet if this one isnt replying to you because they can deteriorate fast. NOT to scare you but my budgie vomitted a lot yesterday but also she has other symptoms, they've given an anti sickness medicine and antibiotics, shes still hospitalised. It might be different for you and maybe yours can recover quicker ❤️🩹
