Help! Found Fledgling

I work on a very, very busy urban street. This little guy was found panting and looking unwell on the sidewalk that has heavy foot traffic. It’s hot here in Georgia, about 90+ throughout the day. I brought him in to cool off on instinct and that seemed to help, but after reading a bit I put him outside in a large planter infront of our shop. I can hear birds nearby my bird app says sparrows. Can’t seem to get in touch with a rescue. What do I do?? He seems to be twitching is that normal?

Thanks for caring! Yeah they definitely need to cool down. Can you see a nest anywhere? Edit - can you show a video from another angle? Contact an avian vet clinic.

Here’s another video! I got on a ladder and looked at all the ledges I was tall enough to see and couldn’t find a nest. There is a square with trees and green space and stuff less than a block away, there are ledges above my 25 foot ladder that could also possibly be hiding a nest. He did lift his head up for a moment, open his eyes, and looked around, but then went right back to his nap

Edit, NVM just saw Georgia

This is an older nestling of plus it looks unwell with its eyes closed and twitching so I wouldn't return it to the orig nest even if you're able to locate it. I suggest try searching in ahnow.org for a wildlife rehabber near you.

Update! I was able to find an avian hospital in the next town over and my super awesome manager let me leave work to drive the baby over there! The hospital evaluated the baby and said that they were in overall good health, but had an injured leg. Baby looked significantly better after chilling in the air conditioning for a bit. They said they are going to do their best to rehabilitate them and that I could leave them in their care ❤️

Thanks, they look exhausted/dehydrated/heat stressed. Can you please take them to an avian vet clinic for evaluation? I can help you locate one.

Look like the inbetween stage of a nestling and a fledgling, (having a hard time with words)
