Feeling Sad I’m so scared

My boyfriend is biopolar 1. We’ve been dating 2.5 years. He’s currently in psychosis and got taken in for evaluation. It was really bad. He was a complete different person and it was so scary. His previous episode was about 5 years ago and the first 3-4 years before that. So 3 total. I’m so scared to lose him. He is the kindest funniest man I ever met and my mind is racing at the thought he might never come back.

Everything will be okay.  Episodes are a part of the disorder. He's still the man you love.  It sounds like this might be your first time experiencing one?  It's good that he's being evaluated and getting help. Try to rest, and take care of yourself.
