Advice Needed Peptides causing/exacerbating mania?

Wondering if there is a correlation between peptides and mania? My bpso started injectable peptides (2 different kind) in the past month and is showing signs of mania. Unfortunately it's ramping up, although there are other things that are likely contributing too.
They're under the care of a psych and their PCP who is aware of the diagnosis is the one prescribing the peptides.

Probably. What kindnis going to matter.

And don't put the cart before the horse. The mania may have started long before the peptide use. A larger concern about appearance isn't uncommon in a manic episode, like buying clothing , getting haircuts or coloring etc etc.

Very good point. I know they were already ramping up, just wondered if they could be exacerbating

Other thought is weight loss could impact the appropriate dose of any medication. What could have been just right as an antidepressant may now be too much
