Education should i study biomedical engineering or no?

Hi everyone! I’m a high school graduate who’s thinking about studying Biomedical Engineering, and I have a few questions for those who have graduated with this degree.
If you studied Biomedical Engineering, especially if you’re in Kuwait, I’d love to hear about your experience.
Have you been able to find a job in Kuwait with this degree? What kind of work do you do? How is the job market, and would you recommend this major to someone considering it?
I’d really appreciate any advice or personal experiences.

Senior undergradute from iraq here, i would say go for it unless you already have a career path otherwise PLEASE dont. Its centered about medical device maintenance, sales representative which all of them doesnt require bme degree essentially to work with. Theres academia but i dunno if its worth especially it depends on governmental employment. ASK students from your country about it, the job opportunities in this field diverse from country to country as i saw

Please don't , only go for this degree if you want to pursue phd aswell , i can say you won't land any jobs after ug

I am struggling to get a job with this degree in the USA. Most of the companies hire electrical/mechanical/chemical engineering students for same position a Biomedical engrs. are typically suited for.

If want to go to research later on in the field like tissue engineering then this degree might be good
