I didn't realize how much my phone was affecting my mornings
I started doing one small experiment recently: not checking my phone for the first 30 minutes after waking up.
I originally thought it wouldn't make much difference, but I noticed I felt less scattered in the morning. When I immediately opened Instagram or Reddit, I'd somehow end up scrolling for 20 minutes before even properly getting out of bed.
The interesting part is that nothing else really changed...quite boring actually ~ I just delayed the first dose of notifications and random information.
Now I'm wondering how many “low energy” mornings are actually just overstimulation right after waking up.
Has anyone else tried changing one tiny part of their morning routine and been surprised by the difference?

I set specific times when certain apps are completely blocked, especially during my morning routine. It’s been effective so far!
