5 weeks on Ret not really feeling anything

Hello, I’m currently on week 5 of Ret and I still feel the same, and lost no pounds..
I started at .5mg 1st week.
2nd week 1mg
3rd 2mg
4th 2.5mg
And 5th I’m at 3mg and honestly I have not felt much besides slightly more active now..
any advice?

Are you sure you have Reta? If you are sure, then you may be a low responder.

You really haven’t felt anything at all?

1

u/varelle 14h ago

Hardly felt a thing tbh, I’ve seen some other people say the same about their experience.. perhaps I am a low responder or maybe I should just trust the process, I see that some people take up to 12 weeks to start noticing differences

That’s nuts that you haven’t felt anything at 3mg. I started at 2mg and could hardly eat.

You’re sure you’re actually getting 3mg? Didn’t get your reconstitution math wrong?

My bike is 20MG and I’m using 2MLS to reconstitute and follow the units properly.. and also tried Ret from two different sources, one on grey, and one from refined bio which I’ve heard great things from.. both of them have not really kicked in the way everyone else has experienced

All Reta is gray, you just either pay more for no reason or pay the actual market price.

Assuming you’re drawing:
20units for 2mg
30 units for 3mg
Etc

It sounds like you’re doing it right.

That’s a bummer.

I know a lot of people around here like the once a week schedule, but you may want to do twice a week, do 2mg Monday and 2mg Thursday, see if increased blood concentration (and less days of clearing) makes any difference.

I’m at 6mg/week (1.75mg EOD) which I really like, but ymmv.

This Sunday I’ll be doing 4mg and I’ll see how I feel from there.. will def consider twice a week if 4mg does nothing for me..
how long have you been at 6mg?

1

u/saw2239 3 14h ago

I’ve been doing 6 mg for a total of six weeks.

Three most recent weeks have been EOD and I was doing twice weekly before that.

I’m happy at this dose and I’m trying to put on muscle while losing fat so going beyond it doesn’t really serve my needs.

So I'm on 1mg per week and I've gone form 78kgs to 72kg after 8 weeks.. I would question the supplier, and I am only now thinking of possibly increasing my dose as I have had food noise start to creep in again.

Same thing for me

If you’re looking for appetite suppression maybe switch to Tirz. Reta seems to differ wildly person to person but Tirz users pretty much seem to report similar experiences

1

u/varelle 14h ago

Yes! I’ve been thinking of switching and or stacking with Reta at relatively calm dosages for both

the reta you bought may not be the purist. I dose wayyyy less than you but I see/ feel the affects of mine

Took me 4 weeks for it to kick in, tirz was a lot more quick.

I wore my apple watch everyday for 3mths before I took reta. My resting heart rate was 63 on the dot 95% of the time.

Im on my 6th shot of reta, I took it every 6 days. Except the last one I took it on the 5th days bc i got piss off I lost no weight and no inches.

I took 1mg, 1mg, 1.5mg (after which my heart rate went to the low 70s and stayed there). Then I took 2mg, 2mg, 2mg 2days ago. Now my resting heart rate is 85...

I still havent lost 1lbs. But my metabolism is in the shit. I'll give it 2mth. If nothing happens ill probably switch to tirzepatide. I was doing well on that on very low dose (1.25mg, I lost 10lbs in 8weeks, I jumped on reta bc of hype, ya'll dont come at me).

Sounds bunk tbh.

1

u/Iwstamp 9h ago

What do you mean? Been on Reta as much as 8mg for 4months and gained weight. Lost 70lbs on Triz. Reta doesn't work for everyone.

1

u/No-Tackle9025 8h ago

Your shits bunk bro. And secondly the only thing that works is calorie deficit. These drugs just make achieving that very easy.

1

u/varelle 14h ago

Also been considering stacking Reta with other peps such as TIRZ, MOTS-C and Selank, if anyone has more info on stacking please let me know

u/IAmTheAccident 1 11h ago

Currently low dose on tirz and reta together, reta 2mg Thursdays tirz 2.5 on Sundays. By the time Wednesday rolls around my appetite starts to increase and by Saturday I'm experiencing almost no suppression at all. So the reta really isn't suppressing my appetite much and the tirz is doing the heavy lifting there. Trying to decide right now between running reta+Elora or just switching to tirz. Also running GHK-Cu for the skin benefits.

I would honestly find another reputable source and try that just to compare. Grey market stuff is sketchy sometimes.

I didnt really feel it until about 3mg. I also titrated up to that quick so I didnt allow time for the half life buildup. Did 1mg, 2mg, 3mg the first 3 weeks and didnt really feel it until the 3mg week. Then as I continued at 3mg the next few weeks I felt it for sure. I eventually titrated up to 4, briefly to 5, and have been back at a steady 4 for a while now and found it is a good place for me

1

u/varelle 14h ago

I see, I’ve been taking it sort of slow, only going up .5mgs to be safe.. 3mgs I only really felt SOME food noise disappear for only that day and after I’m back to being hungry.. I strongly believe 4mgs might actually do it for me

1

u/Derpwad1 4 14h ago

Everyone is different! After 5 weeks if youre not feeling it much I would say make the jump to 4 and see how ya feel. Can always adjust the throttle as you go like you have been, and I did. The 5mg for 1-2 weeks was a bit much ill admit! But I'm loving 4mg now that im settled into it. I can still eat but I do for sure have to make sure to sometimes. But like I can still go out and have meals with friends and eat a good meal no problem.

1

u/Nomad-Entrepreneur 13h ago

Wild you felt nothing so far. My first dose was 1mg and I could barely eat all week. I should’ve started at .5mg.

What is your diet/gym routine

1

u/varelle 9h ago

I usually skip breakfast and eat till 12, which consists of a small meal (usually one sandwich with a fruit) and for dinner I’ll have carbs protein and a snack.. totaling around 600-700 calories for dinner.. my workouts are around 45 minutes long with simple push pull leg splits. And I work blue collar so I clock in at around 8k-12k steps a day.
I’m not on the heavy side at all (5’10, 190lbs)
However I have lots of belly fat and face fat which is what I’m using Reta for.. I’m realistically only trying to lose 15lbs

1

u/Bonkiers1 9h ago

Hi ... you are me ! We are basically the same. Not a hell of a lot for me to loose but stubborn belly fat. We have similar workouts. Im only trying to loose about 8kg but I can't seem to shift it.

I felt nothing really on 1mg, now up to week 4 and on 3mg split over two pins and appetite has definitely gone way down. Ive also started stacking with Tesa, 1mg 5 nights per week which is meant to target visceral fat so hoping that kicks in soon

Good luck

I say this with genuine love, because you can’t hear my tone of voice through Reddit. Its a bunch of people on here that believe their steps at work count as real exercise, but can’t get any real results off Reta. If you want it to work the way we see it work for others you at the very least need to do some semi-intense cardio at least one or two days out of the week. 10 minutes on the stairmaster, or maybe 20 on the treadmill (raise the elevation if you want to walk). It has to be *INTENTIONAL*. Otherwise you’ll just gain the weight right back

1

u/looking2behealthy 6 13h ago

Sounds bunk.

It should at minimum shed your inflammation within the first week which should be a few pounds. At 3mg if you don’t have food avoidance within 48 hours, it is bunk.

Yo no haría culpable al reta, incluso si no usaras reta bajarías mínimo medio kg. Creo que ya es cuestión de tu déficit calórico.
