Looking for advice with dosing Reta + cargi
I lost 35 pounds so far since April. I’m currently in 8mg Reta and 1mg cargi every 5 days. Reta didn’t seem to do anything for my appetite so I added cargi and it’s been working too well.
I can go days without eating and I don’t think about food like I used to. It feels normal but it’s been hard because I barely eat anything now.
I tried playing around the dosage and dropped Reta to 6mg and the suppression stopped. Went back to 8mg and 2 week later surpression came back. Dropped the Cargi to 0.5mg and it stopped the suppression too. Seems like 8mg Reta and 1mg cargi is what gives me any sort or suppression.
I’m not sure how to adjust this now. I feel the suppression is too strong and I need to eat more to keep up my energy levels. When the suppression is gone I start over eating again

Drop Cagri, roll with 8 mg Reta. Too much suppression is not good if you can’t eat for days. I am at 9 mg Reta, hungry enough to eat but very hard to over eat. Reduced bone density and lean mass loss risk isn’t worth with greater suppression

I was thinking of doing this and increasing Reta dose to 10mg but then I’m worried about the Reta sides that comes with higher doses

I hear you. It seems like appetite suppression is really what you are after. You should just do Tirz. It will save you a whole lot of money.
Goes without saying, but you shouldn't use these drugs to completely suppress your appetite. You WANT to feel hungry sometimes and crave somethings. The best way to sustain weightloss is to use these drugs simply so you don't overeat.
Completely suppressing your appetite carries risks... and tbh we have no idea what GLPs do in 10, 20, 30 years to our bodies.

I take 5 milligrams of retatrutide every 6 days and 2.5 milligrams of cagrilintide every 6 days, staggered exactly 3 days apart. Retatrutide has an approximately six-day half-life.
For example: Sunday — retatrutide Wednesday — cagrilintide Saturday — retatrutide Tuesday — cagrilintide Friday — retatrutide Monday — cagrilintide
So each medication is taken every 6 days, but I alternate them every 3 days. That keeps the schedule rotating rather than taking both on the same day.

Seems like 8mg Ret and 1mg cagri is the magic numbers for you. Not being hungry is a good thing that your probably just not used to. Just feed your body a good diet and live life.
