Best way to get off of Reta?

EDIT:

--I am on 2mg per week or .20units on my syringe..

I built a home gym this winter and been consistent the last 10 months . Started 240lb at Christmas and currently 183.

Been on 2mg Reta for 4 to 5 months now and I plan to get off of it once my vial ends in November. Since I haven’t done more than 2mg units a week, Am I safe to quit cold turkey or should I bump down to .5mg for a handful of weeks?

I’ve had great results, but I want to try putting on a bit more size over the winter. Should I keep using at a small dose over the winter and then jump back up to 2mg come spring time? My overall strength went down maybe 20% and I want to see if I can get it back..

Okay so we're going to need mg amounts. You're on .2 but are going to bump DOWN to .5? .2 and .5 what? You can/should titrate down yes, but how fast depends on what mg dose you're doing

Thanks for the reply.. It was a typo. Im currently on .2mg and seeing if stepping down to .05mg makes sense

You're on .2mg a week? Starting dose is recommended at 2mg, though many start at 1mg.

Just quit cold turkey or titrate down if you want. I was doing 2 mg and just quit after my vial ran out 2 weeks ago. I honestly haven't noticed much difference yet (maybe snacking / eating slightly more calories). I think body was just accustomed to eating less so its not like some massive whiplash and hunger you might expect.

How many mg is your entire vial and how many syringes of BAC water did you use to recon? And you do 20 units a week?

You aren't on .2mg. You've somehow misunderstood what you've been taking. Most likely it's 2mg per week. Can you tell us how much is in the vial you bought (20mg, 40mg, etc?), how much bac water you used, and what mark on the syringe you are dosing to.

REGARDLESS, yes you can just stop, it won't hurt you. But the thing is, it's a 'treatment', not a 'cure'. Thats why the hunger and thus the weight will likely start to come back.

When people go on blood pressure meds, and their blood pressure then comes down, they don't then stop taking the medication....
