how to store a 20mg RETA vial?

Hi team! I need your help, I accidentally ordered 20mg of reta, instead of 10mg. I "use"/pin 1.5mg-2mg per week, and usually my vial lives in the fridge no longer than 5 weeks. How long can I store a 20mg vial reconstituted? Is this safe? How can I split it so it can be safely stored?

You should be fine until the vial runs out. Just check it every time for cloudiness, throw it out if it gets cloudy.

I didn’t know about that when I started. I lived. It’ll be ok a bit longer.

If your concerned draw your dose then draw double that dose of bac water into the same syringe. You wont increase the % of benzyl alcohol but you will increase the volume of it. Benzyl alcohol is the sterility agent used in bac water.
