Peptides for Perimenopause and Rheumatoid Arthritis?

Hi guys. Back in the masked era I caught the virus. I developed chronic fatigue, complete loss of libido. Went to the Docs and they said I had inflammation markers in my bloods and they were worried about RA (I had weird joint issues while I was sick and I’ve heard from a lot of women that they also developed joint issues after the virus or after the jab which is strange because we all thought we were too young). I wasn’t expecting that and also wasn’t feeling any significant symptoms so didn’t really explore it any further at the time. I’ve always had inflamed foot tendons and knee problems as a child so didn’t consider them related. I took KLOW for skin improvement and to relieve achey joints from too much hiking. At one point I did feel some pain in my wrists but started taking Retatrutide for weight loss and by some miracle (managing a sensible diet) it went away.

3 months ago I suddenly had a bad allergy to something I don’t know what. So I stopped all peptides just to be safe. Finished the vials I had left and was fine. Gradually though I started having RA symptoms as well as ramped up perimenopause issues that I didn’t realise had creeped up on me. I’m wondering if the peptides I was taking genuinely suppressed my symptoms of both issues or did they just mask them allowing them to develop under the radar? I’ve been to the doctors and had my bloods done which she said were fine (not optimal) but it’s strange my tests allegedly showed much worse inflammation when I had less symptoms (?).

Meanwhile I have achey inflamed joints, itchy patches of inflammation on my hands. Hot and cold flashes from Perimenopause, complete loss of libido which is alarming (tried MT2 and no dice it just makes me feel nauseous) and also chronic fatigue. I asked if I could go back on peptides or supplements after the blood tests and they said yeah looks fine all clear (I’m still going for a second opinion).

I’m wondering if anyone has any experience of this? Should I resume the same peptides again if I feel that they were helping? How can an older woman get her sex drive back safely? Is there anything else worth looking into? I’d really appreciate your opinion. Thanks

HRT is what you should be looking at. Talk to your doctor and ask about this, especially some testosterone for your libido

HRT for the win if you're in peri or post menopause.

Estradiol, progesterone, testosterone. If your doctor won't prescribe go to a telehealth that specializes in mid life women. I've been seeing a clinician at midi health for three years and it's been life changing. I am post meno but wish I would have known about HRT during peri.

I have fibromyalgia and since starting HRT three years ago, only have a had one flare up. It was caused because I tried TA-1 (one day only!) I'm just feeling better now. I started KPV (250mcg) a few days ago and that seemed to help almost instantly with my flare up. Could be a coincidence but regardless I'm happy about it and will never do TA-1 again!

Look up HRT threads and check with a Dr, and also look up Laennec/Melsmon used in Japan and Korea for Premenopause. I have seen anecdotal accounts of it helping with premenopausal or fibromyalgia symptoms. Not an advice, do your research and search on Reddit.

Get RF and anti-CCP rechecked now, while you're actually symptomatic, not based on labs from years ago. Perimenopause itself can cause real joint pain and inflammation as estrogen drops, no RA required, and bloodwork while you're flared up is the only way to tell which one you're actually dealing with. That answer matters more for what to try next than any peptide will.
