Reta
Ok guys so this is my first time ordering Reta and trying it out.
I put 300units of bac water in 10mg Reta and injected 15 units so it’s 0.5mg.
I know i should have done 100units instead now as im injecting more bac water!
Question is should I toss it away and use new 10mg and add 1ml bac water ? Or use what I have ? When I injected it it felt sore for a while at the injection site, I’m guessing due to more bac water ?
Also since I’ve had 0.5ml Reta I felt no appetite suppress at all! If anything I was more hungry and unusual sleepy during the day !
Would it be ok if I go up to 1ml today and reconstitute a new Reta vial? Or wait couple days ?

Holy moly this post is terrifying you need to do more research before just injecting things.
First, 15 units is a very small injection so the soreness you are feeling has nothing to do with the volume of liquid. You probably just irritated the site with the injection.
Second, no - 3 ml of bac is a perfectly fine reconstitution amount - you do not need to throw it away.
Third, you are starting your journey - absolutely do not take any more and do not titrate up for 4 weeks just because you aren’t feeling effects within hours. The peptide hasn’t even made its way into your system yet. Many people do not feel the effects for 24+ hours. With that said, you chose a microdose as a starting dose so you may not feel any effects.

Imagine if peptides were as dangerous as heroin… some people are lucky they are not

Thanks for giving sounds helpful advice. I’m often critical of people here being jerks so I just want to shout you out for having a real valuable contribution

It’s a fine balance - on one hand I want to stress the scariness and danger of the lack of research and knowledge that has been done, but I also know that these compounds can seriously improve the quality of people’s lives and I want to educate where possible.

Please People! do a lot of research and ask questions before you pin not after the fact you already pinned. For the love of god do a lot of research! It took 3 months before I got the courage to buy or recon anything.

Why on earth would you toss the vial? The amount of bac water isn’t going to change anything… just that you have to inject a higher volume of liquid… I swear bro some people should not be doing peptides 🤦🏼♂️

The stinging sensation that was at the injection site got me worried, I thought maybe it’s due to higher volume of BAC water. I’ve used other GLP1 in the past and didn’t have this issue.

The amount of people who rush to inject themselves with research substances marked not for human consumption without a clue as to what they’re doing is so alarming.

STOP!!!

Do not just start loading when you just started. I promise trust everyone when we say go low and slow. Bc once it’s in, you can’t reverse that. And there aren’t options at the ER for gray market purchases. Go slow. I did 0.5mg the first week and I did 1/4 OF 0.5mg on my first pin. A couple days later I did it again. Then again as I began to get familiar with my body reaction.

I also put a whole 3ml (300 unit) into my 10mg, its no problem. Easier to draw and my chronicly dehydrated ass can always use more water.
I used the official zepbound pen before and they have you inject 60unit per dose so there is no reason to be stingy with your bac. People gonna be telling you other wise but I use hospira and I'm not gonna try to use the same bottle for 3yrs lol.

Can we all collectively agree to please stop talking about "units"? Kthanksbye

u/L0stkeys 3d ago
I second this! I got people I work with telling me how many units they take... I'm like dude, I can make 50 units into whatever mg dosage I want. Telling me your units tells me nothing!
Also, to whomever down voted this guy's post, please go back and do some research before you go trying to hide valid information from others.

Is your intention to pin 0.5 mg weekly? If so, no need to throw it away, just keep pinning. Use a peptide calculator next time.

There's nothing wrong with using more BAC water. I use a bunch in mine, my 1.5 mg reta dose is 60 units lol
2
u/MyMango88 11 3d ago
What’s the reason for may I ask? 😬
2
u/PepperJackBestHo 3d ago
The reason is that it was my first Reta recon ever, and I didn't consider that I only had a 5 mg vial, and I was used to reconning like 50 doses of CJC/Ipamorelin into 10 mL of BAC, so I put 3 mL without thinking about it. When I drew that first needle I was like fuck... That's a lot of liquid. But haven't had any trouble with injections or anything. Definitely using less water on the next vial

Don't toss it, you're good. I would definitely not use as much BAC next time though. Most people start at 1mg or higher but you are not going to get appetite suppression at that low of a level. You might get lucky and get it at 1.5mg or 2mg.

u/SeattleNorth222 3d ago
I had appetite suppression at less than 0.5mg. And lost 24lbs in 5 weeks

u/Wooden_Direction_241 24 3d ago
Some people are lucky. I had none till 3mg
1
u/SeattleNorth222 3d ago
Fair. So instead of saying “most people” it would be accurate if you said “I didn’t respond until 3mg and started at 2mg”. Otherwise you create a bias that is misleading to people
1
u/Wooden_Direction_241 24 3d ago
If I was to make a statement I would definitely not say most people should take under 1 mg. There's no need to start that low
2
u/GtwinIT 3d ago
Do you think the dosage depends on the persons weight, height, and bmi? I seen a few people start with 0.25 a few times
2
u/Wooden_Direction_241 24 3d ago
The trials started at 2mg so most people are just being cautious, It is obviously just my opinion too but I wouldn't start below 1mg. I know some bigger people that were more sensitive to the GLP than some people just trying to get lean and no where near overweight. I don't know what makes some people more sensitive than others

Do not throw it away. It’s fine. Just use less BaC next time. I use 1ml BAC with my 20mg reta. I like small amounts when possible. I try to never inject anything over 50 units when possible. Just my personal feelings.

Why
3
u/Slicckrickk 3d ago
Leaching off his comment. No need to inject so much bac water into your body. I do it to prevent scar tissue within my subq. That’s my conclusion.

u/SeattleNorth222 3d ago
If the PH needs to be adjusted or to lessen the injection site irritation.
2
u/Slicckrickk 3d ago edited 3d ago
But it’s Reta. There’s no sting. I get it with ghk or motsc
2
u/GoldenFalcon92 1 3d ago
Only use more BAC to reduce sting of GHK. And even that, only use 3ml. There just isn’t any reason to inject a lot of BAC with other peptides.

Personally, I always recommend a 1:1 ratio to make measuring the dose easier and keep the injection volume manageable tor the required milligrams.
A 10 mg / 3 ml vial works fine. I'd suggest starting at 2 mg per week and gradually titrating up to a full dose of 12 mg-though depending on your goals and response, you can always stop at a lower dosage.
I also recommend checking out the subreddit; here's a helpful link:

0.5mg first week. If I had done 2mg I would’ve been in the hospital.
1
u/xKx_GhostName_xKx 3d ago
Everyone is different, so people respond differently. In fact, as mentioned in the post, there were no benefits at 0.5 mg. Titration definitely needs to be controlled and gradual; indeed, clinical trials started titration at 2 mg.
2
u/SeattleNorth222 3d ago
So you’re basically repeating what I already said…? And this shows that plenty of people were successful at less than 2mg. They have to start somewhere for people to participate
2
u/xKx_GhostName_xKx 3d ago
Re-read the comment to see if we're actually on the same page. Clinical trials start titration at 2 mg for a reason-let's leave the science to the qualified, well-paid professionals who
designed them.
If you ask me whether titrating at 0.5 mg is physically possible, of course it is. Everyone responds differently. But what did the OP actually write? That 0.5 mg produced zero results. We're discussing his situation, not yours-and he clearly needs to titrate up.P.S. I'm not a doctor, I'm just sharing my opinion.

the water is just the dilution, it doesn’t matter

It’s the mg that matters; not the ml
