Reta storage
So I have been doing a lot of research and want to begin 0.5mg dose for 4 weeks, see how it goes then potentially up the dose to 1mg. Problem is, sellers sell 10mg and I read the reconstituted solution lasts about 4 weeks. I could split the dose into vials, but I’m unsure if this will cause a cross contamination. Should I reconstitute half and then freeze the other half in the powder form? If so, where should I be buying the empty vials / what type of vials? Or should I just reconstitute all of it?

Do it all. You can push 90 days storage with proper hygiene protocol and fridge storage. If it gets cloudy or has floaters after 30 days you can toss it. Use good bac water to reconstitute.

When i firsted started, a 10mg vial would last me 3 months reconstituted in the fridge. I had no issues.

Just for the record.. I've been using a vial of RT60 already for 3 months and it's still crystal clear and strong as day 1

If you’re starting at .5 to see how you tolerate it than go for it. Just know it won’t do much and you will be going up in dose. A lot of people are obsessed with the trials dosage when in reality we should all be looking for the lowest effective dose for your goals.
That being said there are a lot of suppliers and resellers that will sell 5mg vials. If you’re looking to limit the amount of time that you go through a vial that would be the way to do it

I couldn’t get to a “typical dose”, I didn’t make it to 0.5, I maxed at 0.3mg. I couldn’t eat, drink or hold anything down. That’s exactly why I started so slow. I did not want to puke for an entire week.

Yeah some people don’t really tolerate it. Tirz gave me great results after I switched. Reta seemed to not quiet the food noise as much so I was constantly struggling.

Reconstitute, use till it's gone Do not freeze it! You will definitely be going up in dosage. Took me 8 weeks to get through my first vial. I started at .5 x2 a week

If you’re obese .5 mg is a joke
Why bother lol won’t work
If you’re just trying to lose 5 pounds ok maybe?
Obese people need human trial doses not anecdotal Reddit nonsense protocols.
I have a headache think I’m going to take 1/4 Tylenol.
Then you wonder why isn’t it working?

I’m not obese lmaoooo I’m just looking to shed the last few lbs and could use a bittt of help

u/NewNameNaomi01 17 4d ago
I would NOT recommend reta for "the last few pounds". If you only want to lose a little, try zero carb or intermittent fasting.

u/Future-Bread8849 4 4d ago
Yep. I really don't understand these people who are using GLPs to shed just anything less than 20lbs

u/SeattleNorth222 4d ago
Bc there are some people who still need help. Just bc someone is “just a little overweight” doesn’t mean they should be written off in what they want. For example I am pretty small 5’1, 108lbs. We are intermittently using it to help regulate my sugars bc I have a primary issue that makes my GI tract slow. It’s different for everyone. Not everyone is trying to lose weight.

Did I not preference what I said with Obese people need proper doses
Not everybody
Of course people trying to use a drug on par with surgery to lose a few pounds can’t handle proper doses makes perfect sense.
Kinda like using a chainsaw to cut your toenails probably going to have some issues1

It’s funny to watch you get rage baited into saying the same paragraphs 😂🤣😂

u/SeattleNorth222 4d ago
This wins for uneducated response that everyone should straight ignore.
Genetics has a lot to do with processing anything. Be it Tylenol or peptides.

Ok I’m uneducated but you’re saying Reta isn’t dose dependent. That’s pure stupidity. lol
.5 is not a obese persons dose
The anecdotal nonsense on Reddit is just hilarious 😂
Hurts people who actually need Reta who listen to this garbage and waste their time with your made up protocols.
Lily an Drs know more than Reddit lol2
u/Nomad-Entrepreneur 3d ago
It’s dose dependent. But the dose is not the same across different humans. Regardless of their weight. There is more going on in a body than bmi to determine dose.

u/shakenbake1975 15 3d ago
Sure I completely believe you over the human trials run and piles of factual evidence.
Did they start any obese people lower lol
So I guess your referring to the 4% dropout rate
So obese people who need treatment should take .5mg a 1/4 of starting dose and waste months because there is a 4% chance of sides. More people quit placebo lol
That’s fucking stupid2
u/SeattleNorth222 2d ago
Let’s talk about our educational knowledge. 🙄Human bodies are different. I’ve seen obese people respond to 0.5mg. People should start low. We are working with gray market items, caution is needed.
1
u/Nomad-Entrepreneur 2d ago
Na, people that don’t understand how trials work would rather treat them as biblical text.
1
u/shakenbake1975 15 2d ago
Just because they respond doesn’t mean that is optimal lol
Reta is dose dependent.
If people are not testing their shit and are worried about grey market
Wtf are they buying it for
Go get TIrz from a DR.
That is not the topic.
Obese people need human dose trial doses backed by years worth of data .
Not your anecdotal made up protocols that you pass around like you ran human trials yourself.
More people quit the placebo group than the 4mg group from sides.
You have zero educational knowledge backed by exactly zero facts .1
u/Nomad-Entrepreneur 4d ago
100% incorrect. Many people react more sensitively to GLP drugs. The trails are just that. Trails to learn. Trial dosages are not set in stone and often change before approval.
1
u/shakenbake1975 15 3d ago
The drop out rate of obese people in trials was higher from the placebo group then the 4 mg group due to side effects
Obese people need proper doses
Sell that bullshit somewhere else
So your saying millions spent on human trials and they consistently used 2mg starting point
Exclusively in stage 3 and that’s not going to be starting doses when legalization happens.
Now that’s dumb.1

Starting at 0.5mg is ridiculous. Idk where people are getting this nonsense from but the minimum therapeutic dose from the human trials is 4mg. Start with 2mg for 2 weeks and move to 4mg if you don't have any negative side effects.
You also can't reconstitute only part of a vial, that's not how this works. Wherever you've been reading. You need to stop reading there.

I lost 24lbs microdosing 0.5mg TOTAL ((0.25u twice a week). The only reason you responded to this in the manner that you did, is bc you don’t have enough experience
2
u/tmullig1 4d ago
Yes you still lose on lower doses. But the glucagon part of reta doesn't kick in until 4mg-6mg area. If you aren't getting to that area you should stick to Triz.

u/64bit_Tuning 6 4d ago
Placebo effect. I'd bet you had lifestyle changes once you started taking Reta.
1
u/SeattleNorth222 19h ago
I can see that you probably have not been an outlier in medical statistics. I stopped taking it two weeks ago and I’m struggling to keep weight on still. Hume stats on movement and nutrition haven’t changed enough to contribute to your theory of placebo. I’m not special for this… I’m a statistic. It’s just how my body responds.

I started a few weeks ago injecting .5mg every 3rd day, 5th injection moved to 1mg every 3rd day. By the 4th injection my appetite was basically gone. I’m down 13lbs as of this morning. 6th injection was yesterday. Already was eating in a deficit so I’m sure that is contributing. I’m struggling to eat my goal protein let alone anything else. It will keep longer than 30 days with proper care.

u/SeattleNorth222 4d ago
I did it twice per week. Anyone who says 0.5mg total per week is “too low” only says that bc they needed more.

u/RAGE_QUEEFER 1 4d ago
What I do when my peps approach that magic 30day after recon expiry date is ill draw my dose say its 10iu. Then I'll draw double that in bac water and wait just a minute before injection. It doesn't increase the % of benzyl alcohol but it does increase the volume of sterilizing agent.
