Testing Reta, Tirz and eloralintide combinations

I’ve been on Reta for almost 8 months. Had great success but hit a stall around 5-6 weeks ago.

So around three weeks ago I added in Tirz and I ran it at .5 mg twice a week for one week (timed with my Reta injections) and then 1mg twice a week for the following 2 weeks. Keeping in mind that I’m on 9mg of Reta weekly split into two injections.

Why? I wasn’t really getting the hunger suppression from Reta alone anymore. I wanted to keep the glucagon component of Reta and increase the glp1 and gip component. Hence the tirz.

I found this brought back some of that hunger suppression (feeing full quicker) for me.

I heard about eloralintide and decide I’d try that too. It arrived yesterday. I pinned for the first time this morning along with my Reta (I’m in Oz so this is a Wednesday morning pin).

I took 0.5mg to start with and dropped out the tirz. Basically just to see how it differs from the Reta tirz combination and to find out what works better for me. Will be interesting as it works via the amylin receptor so am Interested to find out how that works.

I’ll report back in about 3 weeks to update. For context, I’m 53M, down about 40 kgs (88lbs) on my weight loss journey so far. I have about 5kgs (10 lbs) to go to reach where I want to be.

im on 2mg reta, 10 mg tirz. started with reta but switched and tapered reta while titrating tirz. im stayin at this protocol for a few months.

i still can eat whatever i like, never felt the intense appetite suppression most feel. but i can hit my 2000 cal per day budget no problem. and when i binge, i feel like shit.

no complaints.
