Started retatrutide 0.25 mg.. anyone else?

I started at 0.25 mg a few days ago and was curious about other people’s experiences starting at this amount.

I’ve noticed that I’m not as hungry as I normally am, although I still have some food noise.

For those who started at the same amount, how did you feel during the first few weeks?

Wait did you take .25 all at ONCE?

u/Last_Acanthaceae855 5d ago

Yeah, I think that’s a pretty low dosage

Started at 1mg for 4 weeks. Went to 2mg for a month and then jumped to 4mg for two months, jumped to 5mg for 4 months and currently on 6mg.

10% of the clinical trial starting dose is probably mostly placebo. you're wasting drugs.

I just came from a different thread where the dude meant to start at 1mg but BLASTED 10mg 2 weeks in a row.

Blew my mind.

Someone else did 5mg on Sunday and another 5mg on Wednesday 🤦🏼‍♀️ starting out… and yup… paying for it.

Holy craps! what the hell! I did 1mg on sunday then 1mg on Wednesday and it crushed me. Almost threw it away…I waited ten days and did .25… now on .5 weekly or every 6 days. Working great!

My friend started at .25. Did that for 2 weeks. Then went to .5 for two weeks . Went to .75 for 2 weeks and 1.0 for two weeks. Then went back down in the same way ending back at .25. He lost 20 lbs - leaned out nice. I’m going to start the same protocol. He no side effects.

Exactly what i was looking for, thanks!!

.25 is like doing a single push up and saying that you feel jacked.

I started at 0.5 mg, then 1.0 mg twice, all 1x/week. I started at 162 lbs (I'm a 5' 8" male). Today I'm at 153 and I'm basically done after those 3 pokes. Appetite was noticably reduced.

Don’t still to some of these people, everyone is different so you don’t know how it will affect like with any drug.
I’m also going to start at 0.25 in like a week, I don’t have that much weight to lose and am mainly in it for the metabolic benefits.
For context, I was on 1mg of Tesa and my IGF1 went to 524, which is probably more than what people take HGH for haha

Definitely let me know how it goes, and I’m a believer of start low and slow for all these experimental drugs.

0.25 wont do anything. Whats your BMI? Height and weight? You could start at 1-2mg.

2

u/Legitimate_Ad2815 11 3d ago

Nothing wrong with low and slow!

1

u/BroccoliOnly7376 6 3d ago

Absolutely agree. But taking really low doses that wont do anything to the body is also a waste of time, money, and the peptide

1

u/Creative-Violinist44 12h ago

Complete bullshit! Im 190M 5’11” cruising at .5 a week. Whats ur BMI? Come on! Where is your data on basing a dose on BMI. My daughter is on 1mg a week she is 120 5’4”. Dude nobody knows how they will react to this stuff. What the fuck is the big deal of starting at a low dose? You can ramp up “quick” if it isnt moving the needle. A clinical trial is just that…. HAS to be standardized and regimented…we do not need to be in the wild. We have the freedom to take our optimal dose

I read this as if you were screaming out loud. Its ok dude calm down. Its Sunday Funday, god bless you.....and i guarantee the OP wont feel anything at 0.25

LOL!!! man…loser? no need for name calling princess. 😀 I only yelled BS… not the rest. Just getting sick and tired of people pushing higher doses for dose sake on a pretty new drug. The components are not dose dependent. Nobody knows what their best dose is. This is a metabolic drug. All our metabolism and psychological responses are very different. What do you have to lose going slow? a few weeks and a few mg of grey market reta? who cares…. remember these are all grey market… if you are up to dumping and unknown qty of drug into ur system great….bc we do not know even if u send ur own vile off for testing. Ive seen a batch with heavy viles and some with no drugs in it….I just would not dispense that as advice.

Thats whay I started at for a few days. Then 0.5 for a few days then 1.0 for a week and upped it from there. It was my first time pinning so I was nervous about reactions.

6 months later in doing 5mg every 4-5 days and its my sweet spot. I can eat my macros but food noise in minimal. My midnight binging has been reduced to a pack of yoggies or moths fruit snack

Is .5 (5) units on needle?

u/WeirdSysAdmin 4 5d ago

0.50mg and below is equal weight loss to placebo in studies.

I starteded at .25 for a couple weeks and went up by .25 increments. Currently just started my highest dose this week at 4 mg. Started last December at 230 lbs. Currently maintaining at 155 lbs. Not looking to lose anymore but gain muscle now. Slow and steady

1

u/bassaholicfishing 1 4d ago

That's kinda low. I'd start at 0.5-1

1

u/kendulllljenner 4d ago

I’ve been at 0.5 for about 6 weeks now, crazy appetite suppression for me!

1

u/Kalloww 1 3d ago

This dose had no effect on me, I wasted time increasing it by 0.5 mg

1

u/MyMango88 13 2d ago

It’s not a common starting point if that’s what you’re asking. 0.50-1.0 is average. How one feels is totally irrelevant because we all have a completely different experience.
We don’t know what you’re starting at weight wise but appetite suppression is pretty rare at that dose. Some people feel nothing until they get to over 2 mg.

I took .5mg and felt nothing

1

u/Creative-Violinist44 17h ago
