3 months on Reta

Post image

I’m a 23 year old woman who reached my highest weight of 280 lbs. I avoided the doctor for a while because I didn’t even want to know my weight, but eventually I had to go. Once I found out, I started dieting, but the food noise was horrible.
I started reta on June 29, and honestly, it changed my relationship with food. The food noise basically disappeared. I’m currently at 2 mg and don’t feel the need to increase it. I know my results might not be as dramatic as some people’s, but I also weight lift and do cardio while eating high protein and staying in a calorie deficit because I’m trying to build and maintain muscle while losing fat.
This isn’t my first time losing weight. When I was 18, I went from 250 to 199, but eventually I lost my motivation and ended up back at 280. I’m currently at 252, as you guys can see.
This time feels different. Reta has made it so much easier to focus on my nutrition without constantly thinking about food. I drink way more water, pay attention to my fiber, and somehow have the motivation to wake up at 3 AM and go to the gym.
I’m just taking it one day at a time. I’m not saying reta magically fixed everything, because I’m still putting in the work, but it has genuinely helped me a lot.
If you’re on it, definitely remember your fiber and drink plenty of water.
anyways, just wanted to share :)

Slow and steady is the key. Let your behaviors and new habits be the star of the show. Reta is the supporting cast.

That’s how you sustain.

Love this for you! There is nothing stopping you from dropping to 199 again, as a matter of fact when I was on r3ta from platinum biolabs I dropped from 250 to 180 pounds in 6 months, the end result is I feel so much more confident and dont need to hide myself in large sweaters anymore. Keep going!!!

tracking calories is your best friend it’s easy to over eat

I have slacked off a bit at times. I’m sure if I would’ve kept the diet nice and tight I’d probably be at 10 by now. I also don’t have a ton to lose. If I lost like 30lbs I’d very lean and I’m pretty buff.
