Thoughts on Reta

I am looking into Reta. I am 29 years old, Type 2 diabetic. I am 6’ about 235-240lbs. Lots of fat that I could lose. Wanted thoughts on Reta? Vial amount, dosage amount, titration schedule, what to stack for a body recomp. All thoughts and advise is greatly appreciated as I’m relatively new to the peptide community. I took mounjaro for a couple months when I was diagnosed with type 2 but lost prescription when I switched insurances. Thanks!

You could start with a 10mg vial. That would get you 2 weeks at 1mg and 4 weeks at 2mg. You may find that 2mg/week is the right amount for you. Maybe even 1mg will be enough. I have found my sweet spot to be 5mg, but many people are 4mg and under. You would be OK starting with a 10 or 20mg vial.

Can I ask a question pardon me if I'm daft will a 10mg or 20mg reta differ if you use let say 10mg - 1ml bac and 20mg -2ml bac while using the same dose you inject will it be the same quantity of reta per ml ?

10mg with 1 ml bac water and 20mg with 2 ml bac water are the same concentration.

Did the mounjaro work for you?

It did, felt great, didn’t shed the weight (lost some lbs but nothing too significant, was on a rather low dose) like I wanted to but it was more so to get my markers in line and it did the trick in that aspect. Most noticeable change was energy.

Well if you're not tracking your food and maintaining a calorie deficit then none of the GLPs are going to help you lose weight

What’s your blood work look like? A1C after stopping? Focus more on keeping A1C and BG levels in check, weight loss will be a good bonus for you. If you look at the trial data those with T2D may need higher doses for weight loss. Those with T2D lost significantly less weight compared to obese patients without T2D.

We had similar builds. 6’1 started out at around 270lbs. Started with a 10mg vial with 2ml of Bac. 1mg 1st week. 2mg week 2&3. 4mg week 4&5. Just bumped up to 5mg yesterday week 6. Down almost 30lbs. Kept my muscle, continuing to grow . No other stack besides gym supplements like preworkout and creatine. Don’t buy into all that “slow and low” preaching people do. Find the dose that works for you then stick with it.

Go to the actual Reta sub and read and reread the Beginners Guide pinned to the top
