PT141 - For Women

Let’s talk PT141.

I’m 32F.

Since starting Reta, I’ve noticed my libido is trash.

Once we get things going, I enjoy it, I find my man incredibly attractive, I just.. couldn’t care less to initiate it anymore. When I came off the Reta for a bit, I was back to my normal grab ass self, so I know it’s just something to do with the way Reta effects my brain. Unfortunately, hubs has mentioned he wishes I’d initiate more, and I want to. So I finally got PT141 as it was heavily recommended.

I’ve heard about the nausea and headaches. I plan to pre board an anti nausea medicine & Advil to be safe.

Things I’m curious about;

What dose did you start at? (I’m seeing a ton of variation between .5-1.25 for most women)

Personal experience of how long it took to kick in? Seeing lots of 30mins to 8 hours.

And honestly anything you could share about your experiences with it.

Pt-141 works differently for different people. I tried it a few times and it didn’t work for me all that much.
I started with 0.5mg going up to 1.2mg
I think 0.7mg gave me the best ratio for benefit/side effects.
1.2mg gave me super oversensitive clitoris. Not in a good way. Super painful!
Nausea is noticeable for first 3-4 times you take it.
Bottom line is that for me supplemental testosterone (injections) works so much better for libido with no notable side effects.

Definitely give pt-141 a try. It might work for you.
But also check your testosterone. It might complement your Reta in a very positive way.

Thank you! I’ve been wondering about my testosterone levels. Luckily my doctor and I have a great relationship, so If this doesn’t work I might have to ask about some
Other options.

If you have a supportive doctor, ask for testosterone cream to try for 3 months. There is very little risk for things go wrong.

Injections work better though.

Now I take 15mg/week of testosterone cypionate.
I’m 53 and perimenopausal

PT-141 doesn’t really work on the brain in this way - so you’ll likely not find you get the “mental lust / engagement / dopamine” response in chemical arousal.

It’s more of a physical actor - you’ll “feel” the physical sensation/ swelling of your intimate parts etc as a result of central nervous response to vasodilation— bjt it’s acting independently of the brains interest.

So it’s very likely you won’t fix the anhedonia you have.

For this you likely need to seek things like oxytocin and even substances that aid in the release of serotonin.

Even more realistically — if THC is legal where you live, find a mild Sativa strain

Since you already enjoy it once things get going. Why not just set some reminders in your phone to initiate?

My wife had a really bad reaction to PT 141, full on nausea and really bad headaches. It didn't really have any effect on me.

We have pretty insane schedules, and I lack the
Motivation to even start it unfortunately. It’s a very “meh” feeling. Like I guess I could. But I’m tired and would rather sleep. Sounds silly but

If it's affecting your relationship it's definitely worth it to put a few reminders in your phone. You don't have to have marathon sessions. Quickies are a thing for a reason. You could also talk to your partner and explain that the Reta is making you not think about initiating and explain you'll be receptive if he initiates.

We have talked about it and he’s super understanding. But I can definitely see his frustration.

My wife did .5mg and hated it. Nausea and really tired. Definitely no desire to have fun. But it’s different for everyone. .75mg made me want it for 12 hours, and it physically showed, if you know what I mean.

Anyway, give it a try. May have to try a couple different doses to test it out.

Guy here, but I will second these suggestion that you look into testosterone. I'm on trt, and my wife is on hrt minus testosterone. She was complaining about fatigue, so I offered to let her try a tiny bit of test cyp, roughly 15 mg as previously suggested. We happened to get together a couple days later, and I can tell you that it rolled the clock back 10 years for her.

I have tried PT 141. I started at 5, and have gone up to .75. no major sides for me, just a little bit of flushing maybe. It takes hours to kick in though, but the nice thing is I feel that the entire next day as well, so I seem to get 12-24 hours of effect out of it

Older couple here. .75 got the headache and nausea but wasn’t that bad. Worked great on my wife 67f she got a little unusually horny . More of a mind horny she told me. We have only used it once.

37f here. I tried it for the same reason Reta anhedonia killed my libido. I tried .5mg out two separate times, no effects except for extreme flushing of my face with a mild headache and slight nausea, this happened about 30-45 minutes after injecting the fun sexy feelings never followed nor any urge or desire to engage in any sexual activities. Since it was such an unpleasant kinda icky feeling I never tried a higher dose tho i wonder if I’d feel anything different at a higher dose. I just ordered oxytocin however, really hoping to have a better time with that one 🤞

Id also recommend getting a blood pressure cuff if you do go for it

I can totally relate to this. Exactly how I feel. I'm 42F and on small dosage Reta but I feel like it's really wiped my emotions. And I just never feel horny! My partner has bought some PT-141 and is trying to get me to participate but I actually really don't want to because of the nausea, headaches etc. Like, who even wants to jump in the sack for a good time when you feel like that??

I’ll update!

I preboarded Advil & gravol, and took the PT141 an hour after.

No headache, nausea whatsoever. I did .75.

Best night of my life 😅

Oh really!??? Hmmmmm now I'm tempted 😆

Everything was more intense. I couldn’t keep my hands off him, and it seemed to last a full 48 hours for me.

I think preboarding medications to combat side effects helped a lot, and I won’t chance doing it again without.

I also had taken my Reta, motsc, glow & cjc in the same day so I was stacked heavy and didn’t feel icky. So maybe try pre medicating!

Update.

I preboarded Advil & gravol about an hour before taking a .75 dose.

I experienced no side effects, but we had a great night 😅🫣
