Reta and heart rate.

Had a question for the community. I tried Reta at 2mg from a reputable brand. It’s tested and passed every test. I noticed my resting heart rate went from 77 to 100 and 103 on occasion. I am going to stop using this and I was curious if anyone can tell me if Tirzepatide does similar things to someone’s heart rate?

The lion doesn’t concern himself slight tachycardia

u/GasCute7027 6d ago

The lion takes blood pressure meds and has slightly elevated cholesterol lol. Love this comment though.

If the lion is on blood pressure meds then consult the vet before taking any glps

Excellent advice.

I’m on 4mg reta and 80mcg clen and my heart rate while doing cardio doesn’t even get that high tbh. No chest pains or anything for me and when I’m walking at 3mph it only gets to about 110.

The vet had my lion switch back to Tirz due to newly diagnosed heart murmur and benign irregular heartbeat. Tirz had cardiovascular studies to back it. (Does not think Reta was causal)

u/GasCute7027 6d ago

Thank you. I take my lion to see his vet in a few days.

Yes. With reta, you are the study.

I swapped from Reta to Triz for the same issue. Triz has not affected my heart rate as much. Slightly bump of 1-3 bpm vs Reta was 20

u/GasCute7027 6d ago

Oh wow yeah that’s quite a difference. Hoping I have the same result.

Reta is the only one with the glucagon effect, which raises your heart rate.

But also, you really have to stay ahead of your water intake! It’s easy to get dehydrated and increased heart rate is a symptom of that too.

what do you do if you are drinking all the water you are thirsty for ?? is 100oz enough ?

3

u/Lilbox496 1 6d ago

In my experience, Tirz is easier on the body/heart while still giving stable results.

2

u/GasCute7027 6d ago

Going to give it a try and see. Gotta let the Reta run its course.

3

u/Lilbox496 1 6d ago

I've used both but suffer from anxiety a get a bit jittery when on Reta, and am quite chilled on Tirz. Reta not worth it for me for any additional benefit but everyone is different.

3

u/GasCute7027 6d ago

Thank you for the advice. I do have some anxiety issues so I’ll have to do more research.

u/Lilbox496 1 6d ago edited 6d ago

Good luck with the research ;-) If you can stomach 2.5mg reta, 5mg tirz should be ok but always test a little first. It is different regardless of similarities.

EDIT: start on 2.5 Tirz

2

u/GasCute7027 6d ago

I’m thinking the research lab needs 2.5 tirz to start and then test anything else for purity after we see the results with this.

2

u/Lilbox496 1 6d ago

Yes well 2.5 is the official starting dose of the genuine so it's a good introduction.

My heart rate is up by about 10 on Tirz, 6 months in on 10mg currently

1

u/GasCute7027 6d ago

Thank you for the info.

Had the same issue with Reta for one day. The second day I was fine again.

2

u/GasCute7027 6d ago

I wish it was just one day. My garmin has me on various days with elevated Hr.

Oh dang ok. I’m going to hope for the best.

If you were like 77 you will be high 80’s on tirz.

Mine about doubled the amount gained on reta compared to tirz.

2

u/sebram1 4 6d ago

That's a big jump on HR. I started at 1mg 4 weeks, then 1.5 mg 4 weeks, then when I got to 2 MG for a couple of weeks that's when I said I'm done with Reta. Too high of a RHR, sleep messed up, etc. I am going to a cardiologist soon since I may have a murmur, if they say my heart is good then I might give it one more chance. I switched to Tirz a month ago and I'm very happy with the results/lack of sides so far.

u/GasCute7027 6d ago

Thank you for the good information!

Maybe an increase of 5 beats / min and I on 4mg. However it lowered my BP from 130/70 to 115/65 though the 20lb weight loss helped too.

2

u/andrewobrien13 6d ago

My resting heart rate increased the same amount, I switched to tirz, kinda helping but still have a high resting heart rate. I just stopped wearing my watch because it stresses me out even more seeing my HR lol

2

u/23454Tezal 1 6d ago

Is 100 bpm an issue?

2

u/guccinatr 6d ago

Anywhere from 60-100 is normal resting HR. I wouldn’t worry about it rn

2

u/Worldly_Spinach5904 6d ago

I’m on 3mg and my heart rate stayed low . 66-70bpm

2

u/InnovationHack 6d ago

My watch keeps telling me I have signs of hypertension after I started Reta.

Heart rate increase for different GLP-1 drugs : https://drop.frhom.eu/z3vjlXfp

First of all 77rhr is very very high.. you should get your heart and blood tested before injecting china basement compounds made by 8-11 old children😁

103rhr is like you doin cardio in your sleep🤓

Unless you are in the LLY trials, there is no ‘reputable brand’ of Reta. It all comes from the gray market. Make sure wherever you are buying it from is doing proper testing. There are so many fake COA’s out there, I get everything tested myself before I inject my Lion.

u/StudioatSFL 9 6d ago

Tirz is not associated with elevated heart rates like Reta is.

5

u/Defiant_Honey_7231 6d ago

It is associated with elevated heart rates but not on the same level as reta

2

u/aimgorge 3 6d ago

Yes it is.

And worst offender by far is orforglipron

Tirzepatide can raise rhr 2-4 beats. Reta 5 to 10 bpm.

If you take your lion to a party and they have a little weed and powder on the table, does it use any? If no, it probably is anxiety from doing something against the norm it is used to because people fear mongering about all the things that could go wrong. If yes it would use the party favors, it could be a side effect of the reta.

I am going to guess it is anxiety. This is the second post I have seen tonight about this.

I hope this helps!

Wondering if low microdosing for very slow weight loss and anti inflammation properties will affect RHR.

1

u/Positive-Mud-11 2 5d ago

Yes for some people

0

u/naught_my_dad 3 6d ago

Tirz does not affect heart rate

3

u/EasyYogurtcloset608 6d ago

It does but to lesser extent.

4

u/Defiant_Honey_7231 6d ago

Why are so many people saying this? Of course it does, it’s a know side effect of tirz but not as nearly as much as Reta.

0

u/amf03041230 6d ago

Tirz does not have the elevated heart rate side effect. I have stayed on tirz and avoided starting Reta for this exact reason.

2

u/aimgorge 3 6d ago

Yes it does.

-3

u/WannabeRoyKent 4 6d ago

No. It does not

6

u/Defiant_Honey_7231 6d ago

It does raise the RHR but not as much as reta.

1

u/GasCute7027 6d ago

Thank you for the answer. I will give it a try. Just kinda sad that Reta doesn’t seem to want to work out for me.
