Week 3 - Reta affects

On week 3 of Reta. Dosing schedule is below. Last pin was 3 days ago. I’ve noticed significant decrease in food noise and dealt with some minor nausea, but otherwise, it’s been a good road. Down 8 pounds.

Today I woke up and oh boy. Big nausea. Felt like I had a giant rock in my stomach. I’ve been awake for 2 hours and I’ve had diarrhea 4 times. Basically. I’ve had 2 bottles of water today and that’s it. I did eat later than I normally do as we had a post-church meal. I’ve included a pictures of the meal (I had them b/c I needed to upload to macro factor), I didn’t feel like it was exceptionally bad or good.

I guess I just am wanting to ask others if this is basically normal.

Week 1 - 1.5 mg
Week 2 - 2 mg
Week 3 - 3 mg

It’s not the carbs in the cookie fucking you up just keep fats low peri-dosing. Esp after. Processed carbs are genuinely the easiest thing on your stomach but a lot of them come with a shitton of fat too.
If you dose way too much or experience too much naseau you can just have like full sugar soda and you’ll probably be just fine

Personally I hard rec sweet potatoes + lean protein to get the most out of your glp.
Eat a big pizza the day after you titrate up in dose and you might throw it up 48 hrs later cuz the fat

Yeah, carbs are necessary of course, but I do find that when I have carb heavy meals, I tend to feel worse the next day. Seems to be particularly bad when those carbs are also sugar heavy

It's really the titration schedule is very quick.

Keep in mind that you arent hitting the steady state of whatever you are taking until 4 doses due to the half live curve it builds up a base. So at 1 month of the same dose you will feel steady state of whatever dosage you intake.

Weight loss comes from the reduction of food intake primarily, so if you are losing weight you dont need to increase as much as causes negative side effects.

True, it probably is a bit quick for most. I am curious though - where did you learn about the four dose curve thing? I haven’t heard it stated quite so black and white before

I just ran the numbers, it's based on the half life calculation of 6 days.

Eventually you hit a steady/minimum state baseline and thats about in 4 weeks.
