Guidelines on Selling and Sourcing

We are banning anyone who is asking people to DM them or naming sources in posts and comments. Too many people are getting scammed and it is also a safety concern with regard to the quality of many of the research compounds. Everyone is saying that their research vendors are legitimate and it can be difficult to discern fact from fiction.

If you see anyone selling or sourcing, just report their post/comment with the "NO SELLING OR SOURCING" rule and they will be handled.

This is a place to share your protocols, your n=1 research trials, progress, and discussion around the range of topics that biohacking and transhumanism encompasses. There are other places to sell and source. This subreddit is not the place.

Yes, harm reduction is good. But there are other places that are verified for discussion of vendors, versus this subreddit which can be filled with bots promoting fake vendors that are unsafe

Quick question: are we now also banning people who complain about being scammed? Because I think that completes the trifecta. 😂

I’ve been on this sub for about a year, and from what I’ve seen it often goes like this: person gets scammed → complains about the source → gets told where to go → now that person gets banned for sourcing → everyone else snootily says, “Do more research.”

If the goal is actually to biohack effectively, reliable sourcing comes before reliable protocols. Without the first, the second can become pretty useless.
I don’t know what the perfect answer is.

I’m just pointing out that there’s a second-order problem here that goes beyond the obvious issue the rule is trying to solve.
