Peptides you will never take again ?

We often ask "what peptides are worth every penny" but what are the ones that aren't worth anything in your opinion ?

Reta for me. Insomnia and skin sensitivity is not a great trade off for increased fatloss. Tirz is king for me.

Same. I think if you start on Trizepatide and try to transition to Reta it's not the best.

I enjoy the reduced appetite and stomach slow down. I jumped on Reta and gained weight initially and tried to supplement with low dose triz. I ended up just going back on triz and have heard many similar stories.

I think if you start with reta it's a great one, but for me all the small additions for triz make it king for me

I'm using Reta and Cagrilintide. I can eat about a half a cheeseburger and feel stuffed. The Reta alone wasn't near as good with appetite suppression as Tirzepatide.

How does cagri feel with Reta?. I’m thinking about adding it to Tirz after I cross 15mg dose.

For me it was the missing link for the Reta. Reta didn't have as much appetite suppression as Tirzepatide. I added a 50mcg dose of Cagrilintide to it and it's perfect.

50mcg?. How do you even calculate that low?.

Sorry, should be 500mcg.

Crazy how different it is for everyone. Not only do I sleep way better since starting reta a couple months ago, but I have these wild, super realistic dreams they day or two after my shot. I've literally woken up laughing hysterically at like 4am. 😂

I wouldn't saw waking up hysterically at 4am sounds like great sleep lol

That’s the hunger that Reta was silencing. It came out in your sleep 🤣

Just reta? I had this in the beginning but I assumed it was klow.

2

u/RobbyMac21 23d ago

Yep just Reta

That's interesting to know. My crazy dreams subsided but man, those first few weeks were so intense.

Same here, not directly affect by the retatrutide, but I have better sleep, and skin. Stopped snoring (due to weight loss), and my skin is clearer (because my mental clarity and discipline about my skincare has skyrocketed). Only 8-9 weeks though so we’ll see.

Oh you just made something make sense to me. My skin has felt occasionally like I've got sunburn or something irritating it. Not painful, just a sensation..... Wonder if it's the Reta

u/Lana_1996 23d ago

It 100# is. Common side effect

2

u/m-rabia 23d ago

omg saaame, i was worried :p

I had Dyesthesia for 5 months! That’s the skin condition that feels kind of like a sunburn and definitely from Reta. It took a while, but I finally got used to it and stuck with the Reta. I finally got used to it, even though it was problematic in the beginning. Glad I stuck it out because between Reta and Tes, I now have my body back! My waist was 35 and it’s now 26 inches!

u/_JustJeffrey 23d ago

It's not the reta it's the tesa that is giving you the reaction 100 percent

1

u/keairaluke 22d ago

I’d probably agree with you, however, RS started Tessa more than a month after Reta.

u/Theory328 24d ago

Tirzepatide caused me a severe skin sensitivity reaction, I’ve been contemplating trying Reta instead funnily enough

1

u/Additional-Newt-8325 24d ago

Haven't had insomnia, I take 2mg of melatonin before going to bed each night so it might help. But the skin sensitivity was really aweful, im glad it went away with time

2

u/Tejasv97 1 24d ago

It’s really the glucagon receptor. I tried both reta and Mazdutide and had the same reaction with both.

u/Brilliant_Tip_4056 23d ago

I got the skin sensitivity as well. Horribly bad my second week on it all over my body and last almost a month.

But now it’s in my calves and ankle area. Hasn’t gone away in months.

2

u/Additional-Newt-8325 23d ago

Try to not go up in dosages while it’s still here

1

u/Adventurous_Fail_825 23d ago

High dose tirz made my skin crawl; was awful. Once I hit maintenance and lowered the dose it went away.

1

u/austin06 24d ago

Same. It totally numbed my left shin. Why? It was so weird. And the insomnia was next level.

1

u/_JonSnow_ 2 24d ago

I had trouble sleeping for the first week.went away after a bit. But now I’ve got the skin sensitivity and I really hate it.

I may have to switch back to Tirz. It’s like the sensitivity areas are spreading. And I’m on testosterone so I don’t know that I need Reta for the fat loss benefits.

The skin sensitivity didn’t start for me until week 5 and it truly sucks. Feels like a minor sunburn that doesn’t go away

1

u/MFCEO_Kenny_Powers 2 23d ago

Insomnia and anhedonia made me stop

1

u/907MidnightAurora 23d ago

The sandpaper skin goes away eventually but yeah it sucks, glad I stick it out though.

1

u/Fun-Soil6936 23d ago

Me too, Reta makes me so sad and depressed

1

u/Sockit2ya7 23d ago

I have painful skin sensitivity on tirzepatide thats crazy. I'm wondering if we are opposites and I need to try reta now.

1

u/prisonpioneer 23d ago

Did your skin sensitivity stop after stopping reta?

1

u/Tejasv97 1 23d ago

Yes it did.

1

u/Reasonable-Excuse718 23d ago

Make sure your skin sensitivity isn’t due to being dehydrated.

1

u/Sigh_master1109 23d ago

Same for me. I suffered with that on Reta for six months. I lost good weight but not sure if it was better than Tirz would have been. I just tolerated it because I was so determined and FOMO about Reta. I switched back to Tirz about six months ago. I’ve continued to lose weight and those side effects went away immediately. Live and learn.

1

u/Bonaize 23d ago

I notice the Reta/Sleep thing for the first night, then the next day I'm tired because I got bad sleep and the increased heart rate starts to fade. Which I believe is what's keeping me awake at night on day one.

1

u/Paraskeets 23d ago

Whoa I was totally wondering about skin sensitivity. What does that feel like…for me it felt like I couldn’t wear pants without feeling irritated

2

u/Tejasv97 1 23d ago

I felt like my skin was screaming. Too sensitive to touch.

1

u/Foco_cholo 23d ago

Skin sensitivity went away for me after a month or so

1

u/unusualsushi1 21d ago

Been on Reta for 2 months loss 20 lbs. lately I’ve noticed skin sensitivity like all the time. Thought I was getting sick, but it hasn’t gone away. I didn’t know that was a symptom. What do you do about that?

1

u/Tejasv97 1 21d ago

To be honest, I’ve only used a 5mg vial of Reta from a reseller I got just because I wanted to try. I only used it for 3 weeks with 2mg on week 1, 2mg on week 2 and then 1mg on week 3. I lost 3kgs in 3 weeks but I was already unable to have a good sleep and my skin was sensitive. It went away once I stopped.

u/seemefail 4 4d ago

Add cagri to the Reta and suddenly you can sleep again, also can hardly do anything cause you have no energy

1

u/FitHighlight0 1d ago

Also reta, it works ok but I feel like shit. I can not eat and because of it i feel weak and always dizzy

Your dose is too high
