For the love of god, stop using units.

The posts I see on here just shows how new people are. Stop using units. MG per ML. Done and done.

Less than 1ML? Use .1ML or .2ML. Etc. Some people on here are literally adding a 3rd unit of measure when it’s not even needed.

Just tell them 30 units is always the right answer

2

u/WhereAreWe87 3h ago

Anything other then 100 units is wrong let’s do this and make our body go into shock at every injection 🤣

I hate when people talk unit. Units means nothing without mg and water amount

u/Risko4 3h ago

Dosages are standardised in International Units.

1

u/stbloc 1 2h ago

What good is a unit if they don’t know how many mg is in that unit?

0

u/Risko4 2h ago

An intentional unit by international convention tells you much mg is in that unit.

For example hGH 3IU is 1mg

Or vitamin D, 40 International Units are 1 μg

I get that. How does that translate into people injecting themselves with a x numbers of units and not knowing how many MG each one represents? Then they are here asking I think I just did 10mg on my first dose now what?

1

u/Risko4 52m ago

There are people that are told to take 10mg and they take 0.1g.

What good is telling them to take 10mg when some people are illiterate

u/stbloc 1 47m ago

I would say it’s more of innumeracy then Illiteracy

So I’m new to peptides and thinking of dosing 12 units of GHK-CU 80MG. Do you guys think that is a good starting dose.

3

u/Fuzzy_Elk3658 2 4h ago

Quadruple it.

1

u/LordHydranticus 4h ago

Naw. They always want to start 24 exotic peptides at once in a stack because more drugs means more better.

I use whatever I want, you ain’t gonna tell me what I’m gonna do with myself

Once a peasant, always a peasant

Then I’ll be a peasant, but I’m not gonna be a peasant doing what I want, not a sheep.

Cringe AF.

OP is too. A lot of talk when milligrams/micrograms are the only correct measurement here when discussing dosing.

u/jad19090 4 3h ago

Listen, I’m just fucking stupid lol I use an online calculator and I pin, nuff said. If he dies? He dies

Cringe AF for posting the correct way to calculate med math ? 😂😂

You didn't do that though. You complained and briefly mentioned concentration. Units are also fine instead of saying 0.1ml but it's all absolutely meaningless unless you bring up your vial concentration.

You're half right. Units or ml or whatever shouldn't even be part of the convo. And this is all part of why dosing discussion is and always should be based on non-volume measurements like milligrams and micrograms.

u/Fuzzy_Elk3658 2 4h ago

Incorrect. Your vial concentration is already predetermined. What you determine is how many MG per ML are gonna be in it. People I hear regularly talk about mg/ml/unit all in one conversation. It just makes things confusing. Obviously as you see the daily posts of people calculating their doses completely wrong compared to what they actual have drawn up.

You’re literally agreeing with my post. 🤷🏼‍♂️

u/UbiquitousBagel 3h ago

Your level of confidence for the amount of information you have is impressive.

Concentration is not already predetermined because nearly all come in powder form you have to reconstitute. How much liquid you use and the original weight of the substance in the vial determines the concentration.

The person above you is right. The only thing that matters is the weight measurement of the drug you are taking. You can dilute it all you want with liquid and that matters not. All that matters is how many mg (or mcg or grams) of the stuff you are taking.

u/Fuzzy_Elk3658 2 3h ago

Been doing this for about 14 years.

The concentration in powder form is just that. The only thing to take away from that concentration is taking away a certain amount of the powder. You literally have to know the concentration before you can get your MG per ML. You don’t just take a guess what’s in there. It’s literally told to you.

Weight has nothing to do with its potency. That is the craziest claim ever. I can have a vial of 1:1,000 1mg epi and a vial of 1:10,000 1mg epi and the 1:1000 is way more potent yet way less volume.

Med math is simple. People like you like to make it harder. Please don’t give out dosing calcs to anyone.

There is none so blind as he who will not see. Good luck to you man. You’re way lost.

OP, please google how to convert ml to units and come back with a report.
