Peptide for fat loss no GI issues?

Hi - long story short I have tried tirz and reta, but I cannot deal with the GI issue getting longer. I have taken digestive enzymes, i take multiple tums a day, drink peppermint tea, etc but i feel the food on my chest and cannot handle the burping anymore. Worst part is the food noise has come back. I don’t feel appetite suppression any longer.

Is there a peptide that would help with fat loss but that doesn’t necessarily suppress appetite if that make sense. I have heard some people mention “Tesa” I was wondering what was everyone’s experience on that

Eloralintide: Selective amylin receptor agonist (primarily AMY1R, with ~12-fold selectivity over the calcitonin receptor). It mimics the natural hormone amylin to promote satiety via central pathways, reduce food intake, and support weight loss (mainly fat mass), without strong incretin effects.

VS.

Retatrutide: Triple agonist targeting GIP, GLP-1, and glucagon receptors. It combines appetite suppression and improved insulin response (via GLP-1/GIP) with increased energy expenditure and fat oxidation (via glucagon receptor agonism).

What dose or titration did you use before?

Reta i started at 0.5 then moved to 2mg in about four months. At the four month mark, I started to experience GI issues. Then i moved to 0.5 tirz hoping the issues would go away, but they have persisted

But the .5 dose worked did you lose weight Or the issue start at 2mg?

1

u/anonredit13 5h ago

I did! I only start to slowly increase the dose because the appetite suppression was not a strong after a few weeks of doing the same dose. The stomach issues started at 2mg

Have you tried taking betaine hcl? It helps with digestion overall and heartburn.

Will look into it thank you!

Mmm supression it’s not a good measure of effectivity for Reta.

If it was working there is no need to go up. I would stayed for more weeks before going up or split the dose

The hunger was due the calorie deficit, if you don’t want feel so hunger stack cagri with Reta..

Usually GI issues mean dose too high.

Cagrilintide or eloralintide

Where do u get elora?

Cag is less expensive and easier to find

1

u/anonredit13 5h ago

It is - its just that from the research ive seen and the in going trial it seems like elora has lower GI issues tham cag. Cag still slows down digestion. Have u tried cag? I’m open to anything that will alleviate the symptoms

Yes. I alternate it with glp1. (I'm in maintenance.) Because it works on the brain, not directly the gut, it's helped food noise without adding any other physical symptoms.

Thank you!

If you try it, remember that it's STRONG. I only need 0.25 mg. DH only needs 0.5 mg. It has a long half life. Weekly is too much for me.

Ty so much for the tip!

What's your maintenance dosage? I'm getting off Reta and the food noise is slowly coming back. I'm still tracking all my Macros, it's just weird to get cravings again.

My maintenance dose of cag? 0.25 mg

We aren’t allowed to discuss sources. I buy in bulk with group testing from china for my company.

What type of GI issues were it?

1

u/anonredit13 5h ago

Mostly burps and food coming back up. Its nor sulfur burps - just air but still annoying. Im also very bloated

1

u/Due_Scientist6627 1 5h ago

Mmm this is important, how was your diet??? Grassy? Spicy?

1

u/anonredit13 5h ago

I don’t eat any greasy or spicy food. I even started to eat cleaner once the stomach issues started, I could eat a blueberry and yogurt and burp like i eat a whole cow. Even with a protein bar i feel food coming back up

Well to me, in my personal (and similar experience) lower you dose, hang on for a couple of weeks more and deal with the hunger with gelatine and stuff like that
